I noticed a few differences in the story in this version, the king and queen aren't villains and they actually believe it was Quince who was behind the scheme of stealing the royal jewel instead of helping the shadow use it and framing Quince

Man, all the nostalgia here. I... struggled more than I probably should have with this game. I didn't even know there was a bigger console version of this until today! Definitely checking that out, now that I've refreshed my memory of this! Good times, good times.
