I've played employee of the month and the game based on the movie. I like employee of the months because of it's trippy vibes and originality.

So that Battle For Bikini Bottom game wasn’t all just a weird fever dream I had as a kid, I honestly thought I was crazy when people started talking about how good a platformer it was and I had no idea what they were talking about

Employees of the month is a great game and was basicly my childhood. Re playing it now it makes me feel like a little kid again.

You mentioned how all of these games reuse some voice lines. Well, many of these reused ones aren't even originally from AWE Games's PC games! I only recently found out that they appear in the very first SpongeBob game "SpongeBob Supersponge". It was kinda shocking xD.

The Spongebob Movie game is the reason why I love Point and Clicks to this day. Played it back when I was a young kid and loved it.

I watched Jak & Lev play employee of the month a few years ago it was my first exposure to SpongeBob PC games and I’m not mad about it

I have so many fond memories of Employee of the Month, I swear half my childhood was just spent playing Jedi Academy and Employee of the Month, I never knew there were basically sequels in the form of the movie game and Lights Camera Pants, I gotta check them out

Hey, I hope you happen to see this comment :). I really liked this video! I wanted to say a few things. 1. In my country (The Netherlands), they just sold the games in English. As a kid, it was like impossible to beat the point and click games. I had fun playing BfBB and Operation Krabby Patty though, but it's such a shame when you don't get the dialogues, because those are one of the strong points of these budget games. Lights, Camera, Pants was the only game to be translated to Dutch. Unfortunately, only Patrick returned from the series' cast, so that ruined at least half of the game. Still had a good time playing it though. 2. I wonder if you could share your opinion about the games' musics. I find that one of the strong points of these games. Despite them being compressed due to PC game size limitations, they sound great and really bring the SpongeBob atmosphere. 3. I always wondered why they didn't do 2D cutscenes. The scenes they use, use different models than in-game. Furthermore, the scenes are also prerendered to video files, so file size shouldn't be the problem. Anyway, I still love these cutscenes. They're ugly, but still very nostalgic and they make the games more unique. 4. Battle for Bikini Bottom is underrated in my opinion. It should be seen as a game on its own in my opinion. The PC port of Creature of the Krusty Krab however (renamed to Nighty Nightmares in some regions), IS bad. Very bad. Don't play it. :P 5. Last, I just want to say these SpongeBob games were a big part of my childhood. I wish I had been able to beat the point and click ones when I was a kid, but I still had fun beating them a few years ago. The low budget AWE Games have their issues, but the dialogues are always creative and are a major part of what makes them good. I wish they had made more games. They're so unique and I miss them. At the same time, I'm kinda looking forward for the PC port for BfBB. It won't be like the original PC games, and I never played the original console version, so I hope I'll enjoy it, despite memories I have of the PC port won't be in it, except for the storyline. The next game would be Nighty Nightmare, but that game is really bad in my honest opinion. I don't know about that Triton game though. Is that actually from AWE Games? I thought Nighty Nightmare was the last game in the series. Maybe you could talk about some SpongeBob flash games if you played them. :)

These games bring back so many memories. I had employee of the month. I did struggle with it when I was about 6, but I still found it great.

Yo, thank you for taking the time to make this. I just wanted to tell you that if you still have the Movie's game, you absolutely can skip the dialog. For anyone who's speedrunning, press the Ctrl button + the left mouse button and it grants you to skip whoever's talking to be cut short. You can also use this method for moving places and opening doors from where you are without walking to them-- took me many years to figure that out lol Stun if you have still have the Movie, I commend you to try this out with a full run of any Chapter you'd prefer.

Fun fact: you can use Employee of the Month’s Disc to pass Battle for Bikini Bottom’s Anti-piracy check. The funniest part is that it will play employee of the month’s opening .bik videos too.

Employee of the Month was my childhood game. I recently played a bit of it and it unlocked so many memories with the sound effects alone.

You know I think the reason why the Spongebob PC Games were very different from their Console counterpart is that publishers knew that most of these Kid's PC Games would be played on a Families PC, and let's be honest most parents who buy a PC for the family, never took gaming into considerations.

The PC Spongebob games... THOSE are the ones I grew up on. Before I got gaming consoles.

You're not missing anything from not playing Operation Krabby Patty because when I had it as a kid I could never figure out wtf I was supposed to click and I tried clicking everything but nothing seemed to work so I would be stuck on the main menu but besides that OMFG this video brought back sooo much nostalgia I loved Employee of the Month & the movie game soo much when I was younger. Your reviews/commentaries on these games were pretty funny and had some good points. You have to give these games some credit at least they weren't afraid to be interesting and crazy.

They were certainly quite odd lol, especially the cutscenes. I remember them very fondly though like I'm sure other kids my age who played it too! Operation Krabby Patty was...Ugh. You're not missing much. Employee of the Month was actually a pretty fun little point-and-click adventure game though. ...But nothing compared to the console games, ESPECIALLY the brilliant Battle for Bikini Bottom and others by Heavy Iron Studios! ❤️

I Have Operation Krabby Patty, Employee Of The Month, Battle For Bikini Bottom, The Spongebob Movie, Lights Camera Pants And Nighty Nightmare (Creature From The Krusty Krab) On My MacBook And All Of Them Run Perfectly Fine.

I didn't get how to find the missing props in Lights, Camera, Pants at first, but apparently you have to get certain highscores for the minigames in order to earn the missing ones.

I would love to see a sequel with the other SpongeBob games for PC. There was some old Nick.com ones like SpongeBob 3D car game, Super Brawl, and I think one called SpongeBob 3D Platformer Blast or something like that

I loved the console version of Lights, Camera, Pants! I also think my favorite is Creaure of the Krusty Krab. Out of the point and clicks, I always liked Employee of the Mouth the most.

I remember picking up a four pack of PC Spongebob Games at the exhibition out where I live (in Canada), and it had the movie, lights camera pants, operation krabby patty, and I can't remember the fourth one, but I remember loving the movie and lights camera pants, a lot on pc

When I was little I would always “watch” employee of the month on a phone or on a computer at my grandma’s and my house from when I was 4 to this day! I never had a opportunity to play it due to the game being old and needing a disc that is about $70 I’m still waiting for the day where I can play this game

Let me tell you. The first SpongeBob games I ever remember playing as a little little kid,were Employee of the Month, Operation Krabby Patty and the PC version of Battle for Bikini Bottom (Aside from Nicktoons Basketball, where SpongeBob was in). Looking back, these were indeed my amazing early experiences with the franchise alongside watching the show and movie growing up.

I like lights camera panths the most out of all point and click spongebob games because it has the most nods to actual Spongebob episodes and the biggest variety of Characters direct from the show including lots of Places

I read in the comments of another video that to get all the props in LCP, you need to replay the minigames with harder difficulties. You should check out the other SB games too. I'd be interested in your views of the nightmares game on PC.

I just played my old copy of Employee of the Month the other day before watching this, and I find it very interesting how the color black doesn't show up on the character models. It's weird because on MY copy, the color white doesn't show up. So everybody looks relatively normal except for the fact that they only have pupils. I'm curious as to how that could work out for each of us to have different colors appear transparent.

There was another Spongebob PC game I played call Nighty Nightmare. Now THAT game was strange. It shared a lot of the same elements with Creature From The Krusty Krab (Giant Plankton, Superhero Patrick, and Racecar Driver Spongebob), but instead of the monster movie vibes that CFTKK had, it kept that in Plankton’s dream while the rest of the game focused mainly on the dreams of the three major characters divided into a good dream level and a nightmare level where their fantasies turn sour: Spongebob and his friends getting kidnapped by alien jellyfish, Patrick losing his powers and fighting the Dreaded Patrick with only a hand vacuum, and Plankton getting eaten by a whale and enlisting the help of other, less-intelligent plankton to get out. Actually, now that I typed that out, I realize that Nighty Nightmare is a much, much darker version of Creature From The Krusty Krab, yet the nightmare parts of their dreams are switched around somewhat so that Spongebob goes to space, Plankton is swallowed by something, and Patrick ends up fighting one of the things he loves the most. It’s amazing how changing some small details like that make for a COMPLETELY different story.

I think to get all the props, you need to replay all the mini games from Spongebob's house which you access through the main menu.

I'm replaying through all the PC games now. I played them all as a kid and it's pretty relaxing to play them again almost 20 years later. The only game I can't seem to get working is Lights, Camera, Pants. Does anyone know of any reliable sites?

I played Lights Camera Pants as an adult, I wasn't as impressed as you were. I remember it being very short even getting all the actors and lacking some charm from the other two point and click games. Maybe it's all the useless stuff in the background you could click on was taken away?

To complete lights camera pants u gotta replay all the mini games and get a high score. It unlocked all the props. But I still didn't really get an ending.

I had the Movie tie in game. Me and my brother spent ages playing them. I had a ps2 game as well, but we could never get it to work.
