Fun Fact: Director David Leitch was actually Brad Pitt’s stunt double between the late 90’s and early 00’s. So I feel like this movie is him living out a stuntman’s fantasy.

Used to watch the TV series as a kid, it's a great concept for a modern action film. You know he's going to get run through the wringer and still be a believable everyman bad ass. Looks like they got good chemistry too.
Minor correction: Ryan Gosling is 42 (almost 43), not 47. But yeah, I'm definitely seeing this in the theater. I said this on the Reel Rejects reaction, but I appreciate how this movie seems to lean more on practical stunts and effects. Sometimes David Leitch's movies can be too reliant on CGI and green/blue screen and I'm sure there's some of that here too, but it appears to be at a minimum, which is what Hollywood needs to do more of. It just looks like a fun movie anyway.
I used to watch this rerun of the 80s show The Fall Guy and I was such a fan of it as a 10 year old (in the 90s). Sad that Hollywood rarely has anything original nowadays but let's see, maybe this is a good one nonetheless
The door kick actually reminded me of Jensen Ackles because it was literally like that, he went back to the receptionist to change the card and then he kicked it 😂
I love the TV series of same name The Fall Guy aired in the 80's the Lee Majors was the fall guy in the TV series he was a stuntman and a bounty hunter in the series Now the new movie the fall guy Lee Majors will be in the movie and the director is a well known stuntman that double for Bratt Pitt ,Matt Damon and Jean-Claude Van Damme I be definitely watching the movie
Can't believe they're making a "The Fall Guy" movie. I remember watching the TV show back in the '80s. Wasn't it the first thing Lee Majors did after The Six Million Dollar Man? They should do a movie about that, although you wouldn't get much for $6m these days. Well I'm not the type to kiss and tell But I've been seen with Farah... ... cos I'm the unknown stuntman that made Redford such a star.
I loved the original series. Trailer looks amazing. I will be watching this in theaters. I do hope they use the original opening song from the series somewhere in tye movie.
@@abirvaabchatterjee6439 The Fall Guy was an 80s show, starring Lee Majors about a stunt double who'd bounty hunt whenever stunt work was slow. The movie is loosely based on that series. The same kind of truck the guy drove on the TV show is shown on the trailer by about a second.

Ryan Gosling is growing on me and I love Emily Blunt, I definitely will watch the theatre, Yes I thought his rule on Barbe looked old and they should have cast someone younger.
Loved the tv series as a kid in reruns. But there the main character was a part-time bounty hunter between stuntman jobs and that’s how him and his team kept ending up in these hairy situations. I’m wondering if by the end of this it’ll be the same thing, where he decides he likes chasing down missing folks or bail jumpers. It could be that’s how they set up turning this into a franchise. Who knows?
Looks nothing like the original show but also looks like a ton of fun! Still, why not just go with original characters and an original name? Anyway: Emily Blunt is an angel (of Verdun) on Earth and her alone is worth watching this flick. The rest is awesome bonus! :D P.S.: why do people still give a crap about "age-appropriate"?! Is it two consenting adults? Yes? Well, case closed! Or do you go on about "gender-appropriate romance" as well. No, right? Because that would be homophobic bigotry. So why is ageism okay?

@@ninnak-ve5ko I don't know, he didnot get a proper chance to portray role of KEN in that feminist movie Barbie and now he is back to his original self. Its like a 180 when you look at the characters. His acting and mannerism are back.
My wife and I just saw this movie. It SUCKED!!! Waste of time and money. Contrived, too long, with main characters have no chemistry, and the best part of the movie is a dog and movie score - there's a problem.
