@@diggman88 Then those started getting stolen and they made the Stalkers AI piloted... Or remote piloted. They also had bipedal walkers called Hammers as seen in Retribution and massive AA guns that make the Cheru-Pattern Tyrant (Type-38 Anti Aircraft Gun to the UNSC) we see in Reach seem small. Oh, and in Burning Skies they had four legged Transport Walkers that kind of look like Banished Blisterbacks or something similar to that.

There's also Retribution (An absolutely hidden Gem from the PSP, seriously I will sing that games praises as often as possible) and Burning Skies.

I’d be glad to help out myself: I posted one of Templin Institute’s videos on the Chimera and a playlist of the Live action stuff for Fall of Man a few months back. Ps: if boss does what he did for Halo and has people from the server show up to explain stuff for Resistance, I would kill to be able to show up and help.

God it was such a fun looking universe. The sequels ran out of ideas fast though but the games were so enjoyable. I hope what is happening now gives a resurgence to Kill Zone or Resistance.

​@@nergalrior7841 Yeah, Resistance remained consistent with its trend of humanity losing. If they had started the games in Poland or Germany they could have got a couple more games out of it.

@@diggman88 Well, if we got a sequel to Retribution we may have even gotten more content for the European theater of the war.

The Ignis Pilots went off this OP, we may not see all of their exploits of it but I'll take Jay's word that they stalled the Chimera.

Also yeah, dumping half a mag into a hybrid and it doing practically nothing is canon, the Chimaera are resilient s.o.b’s The Chimaera are like genestealers but with the numbers and adaptability of the tyranids.

Ehhh. Your mileage may art on the beliviable lore bit. The Chimera’s take over of Europe, how they ended up losing and the pre war timeline have some serious issues.

@@Bronasaxon alright this unit has edited it’s comment to be more accurate. This unit has not played the third game or the one on psp, just the first two.

@@kabob0077 a lot more than the others, some Chimera would make an Ork or a Astartes weep at how durable they are.

@@cpaul562 Hell, even in the same STRAIN there's a difference, Steelhead Overseers and Primarchs are a lot tougher than their normal counterparts and then there's things like Marauders which can ALSO be Overseers or Primarchs. Because OF COURSE the giant FIREBREATHING THEROPOD can be a CO with, if it's an Overseer, a full cadre of Primarchs! Oh well, I miss Resistance 2's Coop Multiplayer and I wish it was remastered, or hell that Sony loses both the Resistance IP and Killzone IP so we can have those games on things besides Playstation.

@@kabob0077 I never managed to play the multiplayer for either of those games and yeah I wish those games were on more platforms. On a different note, damn the Helghast look awesome, they may have lost the war against the isa but they won the drip war.

@@cpaul562 Resistance 2 had two rather unique Multiplayer Options, one was a more normal type for the time while the other is one I poured countless hours into playing on my dad's PS3 back in the day. For those who don't know the mode was a randomly generated set of mission objectives you and a team of seven others had to complete to complete the mission on certain maps, depending on the difficulty and objectives you would find yourself against different enemies and going through different routes and areas of the map there was a Class based system with only three Classes and they were: the Special Ops who gave out ammo and grenades and had a BR type weapon for their Class specific Primary giving them the dual function of both a Scout/Recon and a Support, the second was the Soldier who was sort of like the Heavy from TF2 if the Heavy could deploy a shield in front of his minigun and trust me when I say there should ALWAYS be at least one of these guys paired up with a Special Ops guy because that shield he has for his Primary's alt-fire is ESSENTIAL on some difficulties and missions, and last we have a rather unique take on the Medic who in this game has a Primary that sucks the life from enemies and has an alt-fire that heals allies while IIRC its primary fire heals the user. The Classes and levels are designed in such a way that they encourage teamplay since each of these Classes work together. The Special Ops is your only source of ammo, the Soldier your heavy firepower, and the Medic is the guy who keeps everyone alive. There were TWO games on PS3 I played online nonstop, one was Resistance 2 and the other was Lost Planet 2. They were super fun and I miss them dearly. Resistance being left forgotten is a travesty against Gaming imo, if they won't do anything with the IP then they should release it into the wild. They also won the war of likability because good GOD do I hate the ISA.
