I agree with you 100% but we are not Jollibee management. I'd rather see them having more Jollibee branches worldwide from hereon rather than acquiring foreign companies.

I just want a Jollibee in Melbourne, Australia. Theres a HUGE population here just waiting for it to open and even went all the way to Sydney to the opening there.
JFC's local brand acquisitions has been proven successful in the Philippines like Mang inasal, Red Ribbon, and Greenwich. I think they have enough fund for taking risk of acquiring foreign brands and expecting them to grow also as they did with the Philippine local brands. And it's okay to risk and diversify as long as it would not significantly take the company holdings down.
@stebopign I would have to disagree to your disagree. Mang Inasal's food quality hasn't necessarily changed over the past few months or years (maybe its just my area but who knows). Sure people are somewhat disliking on Mang Inasal but for the most part its mainly because of overcrowding due to the fact that the amount of branches are very limited. Not being biased because I'm filipino but at least, this is just my opinion. As for Chowking, I can't necessarily say much negative about this place. Considering that I've been to both restaurants many times before, but again, just from my experiences. Some branches might not be as great as the ones I've experienced. Though as of recently, prices are rising higher and higher. I don't really know much on this topic but apparently some people are starting to hate on certain restaurants and even on jollibee because of rising food prices.

many of outlet are franchises and as under new management they needed to renegotiate the agreement... those unprofitable outlet decided to closed... coffee beans outlet... some jollibee or mang inasal outlet close bcoz of rental problems... during pandemic many businesses surrender their lease contract...
I think it doesn't matter if the coffee bean and smash burger falls off. They just acquired the 2 US brand to help learn the US market for the jollibee. And its a secure territory for jollibee resto in the future.
filipinos are starting to hate on jollibee too. the prices have just become ridiculous for the average local. they havent introduced anything new lately that is even remotely good at all.

It is designed to custom fit the budget of many customers. It has established its name and it is up for more, since it expands its standards of quality, quantity as well as love of country by its products that it offers. It is also to create businesses designed for its customers, that imparts nationalism same with its all time partner supplier in the fast food industry. Congratulations
I just want them to expand as Jollibee, the fast food restaurant, because it has been proven to be successful. But there's an element in business called GREED and it might be good or bad for the company.
lol the title is deceiving haha ... as long as the main 'Jollibee' brand is getting more popular and opening new stores around the globe, they dont care if Smashburger or Coffeebean closes .. its the company's 'gamble' that they are WILLING to take ... 'if it works good, if not, its ok' -> that kind of mentality
I ate at Jollibees once expecting the food taste would live up to all the hype surrounding this food chain. The spaghetti was bland ,no comparison to other food chains. The Chicken was okay nothing to jump around about and do backflips. I much prefer Popeyes or Church's chicken. Okay out of 10 I rate these 2 items at a generous 6,
I'm Filipino myself Jollibee is kinda overrated, these Foreigners just pretend it's good for the views. And it's a hit for ofw coz it reminds them of home, but when it comes to overall quality it's just average

Yung mga filipino dito na nagrereklamo dito about prices. Di alam epekto ng inflation. Domino effect yun sa lahat ng raw materials, direct cost and indirect cost.

Jollibee foods are way better before, in the 90's and early 2000.., large serving..,especially the spaghetti 🍝.. that's was wat back then. But now it became too commercialized, and overhype..
