There’s something romantic about this place,
With it’s cobbled stone pathways and rusted gates.
The sandstone sentinels that look out to sea,
At Anchor Head, they stand silently.
Spare some change for the artists,
Who spend their lives here.
Entertaining, painting, providing for all who come near.
In a town so old and rich in it’s deep history,
You’ll find secret alleyways of yesterday’s mystery.
Though many look down on it with a scrutinizing glare,
What remains here, I’ve found, is a lively town with flare.
So go exploring and get lost in it’s ware and tear,
And you may find more character in Weston-Super-Mare.
