Located just 3 hours outside of the New York metro area is the 13,050 acre Ricketts Glen State Park of Pennsylvania. Complete with 24 named waterfalls, this park will certainly WHET your appetite for adventure! By hiking the 3.6 mile Falls Trail loop, you'll absorb the sights and sounds of over 15 of these coursing cascades as you trek down Ganoga Glen and climb up Glen Leigh.

Loved this place as a kid! It is soooooo beautiful and so much fun to hike. I had to look it up just to drool over it! This, Boulder Field, Crystal Cave, Lost River Caverns, the Grand Canyon in Wellsboro, etc, are the reasons I miss PA so much. 😭

Hi! There are two options - the hike featured in this video is the shorter (3.6ish) loop. The longer loop is 7.2 - you can find more information at www.dcnr.pa.gov/StateParks/FindAPark/RickettsGlenStatePark/Pages/Hiking.aspx

I would say around 3-4 hours, depending on how long you linger at each falls :)

Hm, I'm not sure - tho if you do go near the water, be sure to have proper footwear to avoid slipping and, of course, respect the space! ;)

I really want to see someone rock climb that one tall waterfall with the hook at the top

That 'tall' waterfall is Ganoga Falls... and I would never attempt any rock climbing there or elsewhere in the park! Most of the rocks are of a flat, sedimentary type, and tend to shift around unexpectedly!
