What you are describing is hypnotism, if thats what it takes to get business then my energy is better spent on my records. Im a strong believer of "the music is the talking" and "i am a member of the audience"
I lost 10 grand running a label. I checked out Inner Ocean and the music is trendy like lo-fi hip-hop beats to study to that’s always streaming on RU-vid. When I do ride share and some young people will show me an artist they like and it’s not good music, it’s just a trendy artist like Taylor Swift music or it’s rap that’s not that great musically speaking either, more like a social statement. If running a label you can try to be trendy or have a break out hit, otherwise it’s tuff to break even much less make a profit. Let’s say you’re a band and can create some local buzz or your a DJ that can draw an audience then it will be easier to actually *sell* music. If your label isn’t considered cool and you’re not considered cool then the chances of success are slim.
