The Fantasy Effect Redux - Reflections (Full Album Reaction/Review) 

Their second album called Exi(s)t is in the two best best metal albums ive heard. Hope they make a redux for that one too

Loved the reaction man also this is a whole new re-recording of their first album, for remasters they just improve the quality of the original tracks which some people prefer because it’s the same exact track just better quality but with re-recordings sometimes bands will make creative changes to the original work like they did here. Like some of the guitars in songs are in different tunings than the original versions and they changed up the vocals in certain spots as well. I highly recommend listening to their whole discography. Exist is more similar to the fantasy effect and The Color Clear is their best work in my opinion and has a perfect mix of everything.

YESSS i love that you are checking this album out, one of my favorite albums from that era (and Charles Caswell crom Berried Alive being in the band) and now being remastered it sounds so huge and amazing (Buster is a wizard). but my got have i fallen in love with this album all over again, just timeless riffs, and really shows their more proggy side which i love. Now they just need to do that to the color clear bc that album is amazing as well

Great take on the album, love to see it. I will advocate for Exist also being a very strong album, I think it's more in line with this album compared to successive releases. I think most will say that The Color Clear is their best work, I think I'm partial to Willow but it comes close while being quite different. I know they're older releases but it would be so cool to check those two albums out! I'm really hoping I can see them live one day, I know they would make for a sick show.

Sick album my dude loved this an it’s fantastic has some killswitch vibes an bullet for my valentine also this is sick man this album I get some ice nine kills vibes too an I get some spiritbox an motionless in white vibes too l can relate this band to a lot of other bands it’s a sick album I love it bro

also HIGHLY recommend watching the guitar playthroughs that are out for this album they are insane

The same guy that helped them re-record this is the guy that remixed vildhjartas first album which also sounds amazing. This album and exi(s)t have Charles Caswell (berries alive now) and the first drummer. Exi(s)t is kind of similar to this album but a bit darker but still a great album. The color clear is where they really switched up their sound, got really heavy and less djent but still has like 4 songs that are melodic and the rest really heavy kind of like willow

Gotta react to Exi(s)t and the color clear. This albums redux is good but the first one is timeless in my opinion. This one sounds too much like newer reflections
