Currently sitting in my driest field down to the axles in my Massey waiting for a tow out, getting the digger, might take up another hobby. Heard the rain even helps with the fishing ?

Hope you don't let Gate Lady see the admission of not needing to dig the garden up Crawford. Parsnip fields around me have plastic on them to try and catch up. Spuds going in too. Messy.

Afternoon, i think you’re problem might be related to the fertiliser product you use .The blended products seem to be very uneven when spread compared to prilled compounds . Blends are made up of different size molecules e.g potash phosphate and nitrogen . The weight of these three for example varies between each other , therefore causes uneven spread pattern . Could also slow down flow in spreader . Just a thought . Hope it helps .

How did the cow shed go with the inclement weather? The cows looked happy enough.

Coming to the end of the breeding season the cows will be cycling together,the bulls can only do so much work in a day. Check if there is wear between the shutter and the hopper when it is closed,if there is it will be worse when open.The shutter opening will measure the same but the wear will introduce a third dimension to the hole.

Well I guess now the trough is fixed you must have gained about 2 hours a week from not having to refill it with the IBC so I guess you’ll be surprising gate lady with a garden makeover this summer instead of working on the defenders in your spare time 😂

@@CrawfordsFarm1 the whole lot is just a shit show, what with slurry ban and Urea ban, let the farmers do what they do best. FARM, I think it’s a bit late to start changing stuff that’s been happening for hundreds of years, I’m sure a guy worked out that it takes more fuel for a plane to do one flight to USA that a 500ac farm uses in a year, it’s a total joke.
