Omg.. this brings back so many memories. This was one of the first games I got on my PSP. I never beat it because I didn't know at the time that you needed a memory stick to save games. (I was like 11-12) Still looks great for a PSP game!
Looks like a good port of the PS2 game (even runs better apparently), just like Midnight Club. However I can't help but notice how horrible the front of the NSX looks when in-game x) That's the downside to being a modeler lol
because the psp version had a small screen, his runs in a low resolution and with ppsspp in a super hd resolution you can look the polygonal 3d models like the NSX in-game x
@@rafifafkaralhafizh787 Yep, some games in PSP are locked in 30-ish FPS (Except God of War, as far i know, it locked in 60 FPS because they maximalize the system's performance). Even the PSP port of Midnight Club 3 sometimes had to face framedrops.
I completed the PSP version multiple times. The problem with my saves that are too many and loading it reverts to progress after purchasing your first car, so I had to use save states.
Since you played a lot, i do have a question about this game. Do you know if the features presented in the ps2 game (car list, customization, same story) are also included in the psp version? I'm looking forward to emulating this game on ppsspp.
@@Matshusco I think they are. Though racer introduction is shorter in the handheld version. If I wanted to know more about the PS2 version, I might take an ISO to play. The problem with a customization in my PSP emulator is when I enter paint shop, the game crashes. At least I don't have problem with bodykits and Namco charms.
@@mateuszpaszkiewicz3831 i noticed it. Actually i'm already halfway done with the game, and still haven't noticed any major differences between the psp/ps2 versions.
Does Japan actually have highways where there are 5-10 mile stretches of nothing but straight road? No turns, no exits, just a perfectly straight highway?
In the first race, If you had a supra you had the European version, but if you had something other than the European version it was a Honda NSX. The European version had no Honda cars.
