2023 still enjoying these amazing PSP racing games. Burnout Legends, Juiced Eliminator, Ridge Racer 1, Formula One 06 and Flatout Head On are some of the best PSP racing games ever!
Here is why Flatout is the best racing game on psp. It's quite challenging, car physics are well polished, Graphics are great, tons of tracks as well as game modes.
For those wondering: 15. F1 2009 14. Sega Rally Revo 13. Burnout Dominator 12. Ridge Racer 2 11. Crash Tag Team Racing 10. Wipeout Pulse 9. Moto GP 8. Flatout Headon 7. Juiced 2 6. Test Drive Unlimited 5. Motorstorm Arctic Edge 4. Midnight Club LA Remix 3. Colin McRae Rally 2005 2. NFS Underground Rivals 1. Gran Turismo
The psp was such an awesome and powerful handheld for its time. Also an awesome home brew emulator machine. I wish the ps vita was as successful as the psp
pimped outstereos can you play all the PSP games on the PS Vita? im looking at getting the Vita and am unsure on weather all of the PSP games are avaliable on it
Rivals JDM I think they have majority of the psp games on there, especially the classics and must haves. But in general, I think some psp games are missing from the store. All in all I love the ps vita, it's a great system for ps1, psp, as well as having its own great library.
DeAndre Stallworth yeah i bought a ps vita a few weeks ago and was dissapointed when none of my favourite psp games were avalible for it. none the less still a amazing hand held
Even the psp graphics today still badass.. the best thing about psp is it was a good system to play this kind of genre. Believe me you wont end up selling your psp, keep it.
Id swap Burnout Dominator with Burnout Legends, and Midnight Club LA with Midnight Club 3. Good list though, the psp really was (still is) a fantastic system.
Dominator has good sense of speed and the crashes are more satisfying, but Legends has better tracks, modes, music and it's a little bit more fun than Dominator
I’d get both midnight clubs. They both have completely different soundtracks and cities to race in. Plus you race in Tokyo and it’s right lane driving.
Heres some more really great (and challenging) racing games 1: initial d street stage (in japanese only but there is an english manual that will tell you how to navigate menus and how to upgrade cars) 2:wangan midnight portable (its in japanese but the menus are in english) 3: outrun 2006 (has different languages english as its main)
wipeout pulse is SO GOOD. plays even better on Vita imo. I also think Motorstorm Arctic Edge is the best racing game on PSP. It looks great, it’s super challenging but rewarding, and the soundtrack rocks (aside from one or two stinkers)
i have a wonderful tip for you guys if you play psp games on android. Play them in google cardboard mode (3D VR) and use a virtual reality headset for your phone. It is awesome! Today I was just playing F1 2009, Call Of Duty Roads To Victory, Need For Speed Underground Rivals, and Colin Mcrae Rally 2005, and with my LG G5's 2k 60fps screen, it was AWESOME! I highly recommend you try this.
Jan Christian Frodahl does it still hold up? the game itself, i mean. i’ve played through a good bit of GT 5, 6 and Sport, and i’m interested in the PSP release.
@@grimmestcreaper2212 There is absolutely no real campaign mode, and cars can only be purchased on an ingame-daily rotation tied to your PSP's hardware. Try it only if you really want, or if you just wanna play GT4 online with some hacks.
Digital Polyphony need to make a remaster version on PS VITA , even remote play is “finally works” on PS4 ! Just for the collectors , I did know a lot of players miss this mobile version of GT ~ just add little higher resolutions on and sell it online ps store and digital download only ~
psp was truly a monster for it's time. after the psp that effect kinda wore of. they tried aggain with the vita but the vita was a long shot from the ps3 in comparison.
OMFG! I would fucking _lose it,_ with those engine sounds, from F1 2019 (#15, the first shown). I had to mute my TV, to avoid throwing my coffee mug at it, just now...
PSP was such a awesome thing, the only way it would be better is cartridges instead of discs, shame the vita flopped from dumbass decisions. You can also add LA Rush and burnout legends to this list. Gt psp kind of sucks though I don’t know why it would be so much effort for them to have added a basic career progression.
On the Vita the PSP games are still a pixelated mess, they don't get rendered at the higher resolution of Vita's screen. Try the PPSSPP emulator (on your phone or PC) and play the games at glorious 5K if you want. It's really a huge difference.
wheres fast and Furious? that was an amazing game, good graphics but if you had a Great Car in the game. It would be funny cz U can actually make it fly. and never gonna land
