Stevie, you're just bad ass sharing your wealth of knowledge about racing with us. I, for one, sincerely appreciate and enjoy your videos. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to do these videos, so again, thank you. Best of luck in the coming year, my man!! (ps; the turbo car staging was frikkin hilarious!:) )
he'll ya Stevie..... a good racer is a good weather man. I'm up in the North East, and have done snow removal for 14 yrs. about 3 in I got a weatherstation for racing. ended up using it all winter long too. I always knew more than my competitors, and learned when to keep trucks back or send em. Happy New Year KTR CREW!! CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT 2019 BRINGS!!!
Big up to the Turbo Clip and I feel one of the worst causes of Indy Car Engine Failures is Turbo because it would have a bad, bad habit of not adapting to different conditions, like it gets badly cold in Laguna Seca.
Love watching the fast lane videos, lets see a in-depth break down of all the parts and components of your race car. Excluding all the top secret parts
Had to replay the turbo car just a few times , fkn tears ! And how about the NA car ! The best , thank you for all your hard work Steve and team ktr , happy 2019
Great video Steve! Technology is a great thing! Including the pager..lol Very informative video, I like the old school, run what you brung ... have a blessed weekend!
Btw, stock more of the black and blue, Shadow, crushing hopes & dreams t shirt and sweatshirts in XL! Ill buy the other for now, but that design is clean!
Now that Accu-Bob is retired maybe you can hire Bob Smith for your team. HA!HA! Very educational video and you make it very entertaining also. See you at ZMAX.
Stevie, what is your opinion on all of the lead trophies the blower combos are getting in x275? Thank you for these videos, they rule. Hope to see you bring something ridiculous to dragweek.
It blows my mind with the knowledge you have on any aspect of racing. Try not to give all your secrets out. The others are playing catch up and need your help.
Live to race, or race to live? How do you manage your time between the racing world and whatever else you may do? Are you lucky enough to race full time or do you have another passion that helps cover racing? Thanks!
Amazing video. I am looking to build a consistent bracket car for 1/8 mile racing at my local bracket track. Can you tell me what is the best way to go do I go full on high end bracket car or can I get by with a $5000 to $8000 bracket car?
Really depends on a few things. Delay box racing or bottom bulb racing? Any plans to go big money racing or stay local? Super class racing? Gas or methanol? A well built low dollar car can win rounds. A lot of rounds. Most important thing to recall is to have fun. Sinking a ton of money into a car can really offset the fun factor a lot.
What do you prefer radial or pro mod big tire ? I just finished my back halfed 64 dart and don’t know what would be better to run. It’s a grudge/street car
Stevie awesome video. Really like the more tech type videos. The computech stuff looks super nice. Is there any other weather stations / devices a smaller , lower budget person could get into ?
@camaroguy 66 yeah I have used some of those. Just be nice to have something you know is accurate weather for your location. Not the local weather station 60 miles from the track lol. Plus something that would graph and log the day to reference would be great.
Who and what is Bahrain1? I know it’s your sponsor/owner but I recently discovered EKanoo racing out of the United Arabs(I think that’s where they’re from). They were giving shoutouts and they thanked Bahrain and I instantly thought of KTR. Y’all teammates or something?
Hi Stevie, I'm a big blower fan "weak pun". I see lots of guys taking smack about blower cars, and how much more power turbo cars make. Particularly MRE making over 5200hp. Question . do you think a screw blown engine would be able to make +5000hp on a combo similar to what MRE is using' ie 670cu (5.3bs) hemi ?
cameroguy, Im all for quieter & faster. Turbos are banned in topfuel as the cars are already too fast for the shorter tracks and insurers do not want them to go faster.
