How about small parcel from China to Poland? Trying to pre-pay shipping to receive samples less than 150 grams. I only see rates about $60 from China to Poland, which is crazy.

Hey j7st starting some foot work on getting direct from manufacturers, and what I'll be doing is looking for other items to add with this now could i use multiple suppliers to fill a container or just use 1 source. Or how wiuld yiu use say 4 differen sources in China too ]fill a shipping container. My problem is we don't have the storage capability to have a container dropped off or be able to unload if they pulled up full. But we could use our cargo van to load boxes abd be our own last mile transport.. Can a person negotiate say access to container when it arrives and if so how long do you generally have to.empty? Is that safe I've heard horror stories of port workers some time stealing products.. Also Rodents and pest issues so we can treat the issue in container before transport to my storage and office? TIA

How can I find a reputable freight forwarder? Sometimes I think some factories make up numbers for shipping cost. It makes no sense that I can receive a 120 pound package from FedEx from Shanghai for the same price as the are quoting for a 12 pound package.

It's because so much stuff is going out of China that the shipping rates are lower because the freight ships are at max capacity. When you ship overseas, there generally isn't a freight container willing to take your small cargo (that's what she said) and so your package gets shipping via air which is much more expensive.

Most forwarders are scammers. They post one price and they will give you a very higher price when contacted. The prices this guy said are about accurate but slightly changes. Contact a forwarder and they will try to take your money by telling you that prices are to the roof.

You should make all your container load freight shipping arrangement through a "freight Forwarder" who's responsibility is to take care of everything for you and deliver your cargo to your door.

Sea Freight is not necessarily the cheapest depending on the amount of your shipment. For smaller/lighter cargos, airfreight or even express can easily be much cheaper.

Have them ship by EMS that's one of the cheapest means for drop-shipping. They should either know EMS (done through the Chinese Postal Office), or should be able to easily find out.

Please advise. So I’m a dropshipper and I use UPS Express but my packages are still takes 3 to 4 weeks. He promised 10 days. However, UPS has told me my supplier is shipping my packages to California first. My supplier says he cannot control that. UPS says he can send my things to Kentucky (which is closer to my state) and I’ll get my packages faster. And UPS said he is not giving me express - he is actually giving me UPS ground. Now my supplier says I need to pay 37.50 per pair of shoes shipped to get them in a guaranteed delivery of 5-7 days. I am distraught. Can you plz advise if you can?

If you have tracking number, you can easily find the service type on UPS official website. UPS express won't take that long generally.

Oh my god, I don't know if you were deceived or if you were cheap. What you chose in our industry is called air freight+delivery, which is not within the scope of express delivery. He will provide you with air freight to the United States for delivery to UPS or DHL, which will result in lower costs. And the express delivery is UPS, DHL type direct delivery to the United States, with fast delivery time.

@@tongmguo4316 Obviously, I’m trying to get some clarity and advice because what’s clear is that I’m not being told the truth. What I do have is common sense. I was told I’m using UPS express service and paying 37.50 per item to ship. Most orders are shipped in one box. So that makes no sense in itself per UPS policy. I’ve spoken to them. The shipping time has not improved although I’ve upgraded my service 2x. Which by any standards equals not being cheap. Now my order are not going to California first because I let it be known I knew that fact. But The shipping time has not improved. No business can tell someone they are using one service and then say when a problem occurs they are in their right bc of another service policy. I know I’m being overcharged and I’m looking for REAL advice to HELP my business not pass judgement or tell me what’s happening when you can’t know. Your comment was not helpful nor applicable.

Do what I do. Buy 4 samples and sell of them 3 on ebay. The $260 Freight fee is about the same for 1 or 4 pcs. as it's a BASIC low-ball fee.

Sept. 29, 2022 I purchased a guitar on DHGate. It was (supposedly) shipped on Oct 3rd. I paid a little extra for EMS because it provided tracking ($82 instead of $80) China Post says the tracking number for my package is not an EMS number. Tracking stopped updating on Oct. 7th and finally updated on Oct. 22nd. It hasn't updated since. The last reported location was Shanghai. Not sure if the seller is shipping via air or sea. I keep getting the standard "Just wait more days" answer when I ask for an update. I'm beginning to think I'm never going to get my guitar and that time will expire and I won't be able to get a refund.

@@KP_1997 Not yet. I got a shipping update saying it arrived at the US Customs depot in NYC on Dec. 1st. According to the Customs website, that means it could still be on the plane waiting to be unloaded, and then it has to go through inspection. THEN, if they don't have any problems with paperwork, it will be sent to USPS so they can finally deliver it to me.

I know this is an old comment, but who adds their own fees? Are you referring to the freight forwarders? If so then yes, we do, however we are also able to secure you much lower rates than if you were to try approaching companies like FEDEX and UPS by yourself.

1:30 Sorry, but my experience with Express Shipping by UPS, FedEx etc. has a cost more like 10X the cost you have mentioned. Hate to say this, this makes the rest of your information suspicious and I'll have to try to come back to watch the rest of your presentation later.

You need to negotiate your shipping rates with fedex and UPS. Which specific part of the video are you referring to?

@@mywifequitherjob The part of the video I'm talking about is @1:30. Yes you could "negotiate" a better price with FedEx and UPS but only if you have a lot of fairly frequent big cargo shipments. For smaller or infrequent shipments, that's pretty much out of the question. I for one, have very small shipments, and occasional medium size shipments and the Express shipment cost is more like $80+ for a couple of pounds.

It is possible to send from the US to China though the shipping price could be expected to be considerably higher. China also has some high import tariffs on certain products so be sure to do more research. If you find a good shipping agent/ forwarder you should be able to get some favorable rates compared to going directly to DHL/ FEDEX as an individual.
