@RoadRash NT Average of Shoaib is better than Brett Lee in Test and T20. While Brett Lee used to bowl on Australian Pitches Shoaib on the other hand was balling on dead Pitches of Sub-continent. His fastest deliveries included 161.3 , 160x3, 159, 158.4. God knows from where you get your facts.
@RoadRash NT When I talked about pitches I was still talking about average. Australian pitches are biased to Pacers and Sub-continent to spinners. As far as speed goes give some records rather than statements to back up your remark. What were some fastest deliveries by Brett other than 161.1

Lee is the most consistent fast bowler ever. Period. No bowler has ever crossed/touched the 160 kmph mark more than Brett Lee. Even at the end he was consistently hovering around 145 - 148 kmph.
@@syednoorerasul Brett Lee could be better in terms of perfectionism and extreme pace, but Shoaib was scarier because of his attitude, his long runup made the batsmen afraid...Brett Lee got extra pace due to Aussie and New-zealandic pitches, which were pace friendly, while Shoaib was fiery on the dead and spin-friendly track of our Asia...
Other than Brett Lee and for the latter part Shaun tait... Dirk nannes was a seriously quick bowler...the little time he played for Netherlands and Australia will always be unforgettable
Yes..one of the underrated ones among Aussie pacers...Nannes had serious pace! As a fun fact, if u observe Daniel Sam's bowling action, it resembles somewhat like Nannes bowling...but ofc Sams looks like a spinner in front of Nannes🤣😂 but on a serious note, bowlers like Nannes's, Hilfenhaus, Bollinger, Bracken deserved a longer career for the skills they possessed.
I'm English but if I could have only one bowler I'd have Brett Lee every day. Watched his over that averaged 159.1 Just brutal. And his competitive nature, love his passionate celebrations. My 4 quick would be Lee, Steyn, Akhtar, Archer.
Styen and archer are fast but aren't counted as top fast bowlers I think Shaun Tait is the fastest and at second position akhtar and Lee are fighting I would go with Lee at 2nd and Akhtar at 3rd(I am still not sure)

Among fastest bowlers of modern era, Lee is my favourite. Although he perhaps didn’t bowl that much bouncers like Akhtar,Tait or Johnson. Then Tait, then Johnson and then Akhtar. Shane bond was also very good.

if shaun tait didnt get shoulder injury then tait might be delivered fastest ball in cricket history. ie upto 165 kph.. but unfortunatly he got injured..he played short time in his career . but im lee' s fan..

@@mastrammeena328 bcoz it depends on the force and hitting region of the ball. if the ball hits the bail region with 200 km/h then only bails will fall not the wicket
Not cricket, but I faced a young baseball pitcher in Brisbane some years ago. Tall and lanky. I was in my late 30's. He was 18. Didn't see the first one, missed the second one. He did me with a great slow ball for strike three. The man with the gun said his first pitch was 86 miles an hour.
I think Brett Lee is the fastest bowler in big bash cricket history . Brett lee has maintain a discipline in his bowling, and he had much swing in this speed like 145km. He is a legend bowler. I am the biggest fan of Brett Lee

Russell usually bowls medium pace. But he can bowl legit fast deliveries. He does that more often in Australia in big bash where the pitch supports fast bowlers
