devaprasad R I don’t, how tf do you infer that from this video? Even one of the main commentators of this years World Cup doesn’t like the bastard, that is, Freddie Flintoff, who’s from England I might add. I’ve personally never met anyone who actually likes KP’s personality or his cricketing. Kohli can also be a bit arrogant at times and a bit too patriotic for the gentlemen’s game of cricket. However, every ball was a thriller when Mitchell Johnson was playing and that is something neither kohli nor KP ever achieved regardless of Mitchell’s Johnson passion for the game.
Man this Ashes remains one of the best contests ever in test cricket history. The 2005 Ashes is always at the top but this November 2013 test series remains my favourite. I remember actually getting up in the morning, being in India, to watch this series and that was the best thing i ever did🌚😂
Mitch took us back to the 80's era of fast bowling. He even started the mo'vember trend amongst Aussie cricketers. For many neutral fans this was the most favourite Ashes series, even better than 2005 !!
Johnson took 37 in that series. Oh, and by this test KP's batting average for the series was 27. Johnson's was 49. KP was laughing to try to stop himself shitting himself.
In that 2013 series KP was the only Eng Batsman who was fearless, but just few bad selection of shots. But ECB acted as though only KP was sole responsible for their team debacle. Was he the only batsman in your team...?? I'm telling this in 2018, he's not playing anymore, but still KP has the ability to play like a champion.
KP was wonderful batsman even ECB recognize that fact but he had huge discipline issue and team is not happy with him due to uncooperative attitude of him towards team
Guess what miracles happened to team England after sacking Kevin Pietersen post 2013-14 Ashes..........The English team crashed out of 2014 T-20 World Cup with a humiliating 75 runs loss to a minnow team Netherlands, 5 wickets loss to Bangladesh in 2015 ODI World Cup and English team crashing out of the mega tournament & England losing the finals of T-20 World Cup against West Indies by 5 wickets thanks to a horrible team total of 136 runs. Although England won 2019 World Cup by margin of boundaries against New Zealand combining both the game and super over ......Imagine if KP played for English team and Brendan McCullum played for New Zealand then there would have been a 'paisa vasool' final match with competition of roaring sixers & bigger team totals to chase in the final match than 241 runs & 14 runs in the super over.
Mitchell Johnson was at his best during the 2013/14 Ashes but only Kevin Pietersen was able to play him comfortably that tells us about Kevin Pietersen's Game
A lot of hatred in the comments, which is sad. Johnson apologised for this incident and admitted he went too far. KP recently said Johnson bowled superbly during the Ashes. All this is lost on those who choose hatred, and there are a lot of them around. The commentators here took the right attitude. It's all just a bit of aggression, and then the game moves on - unlike some.
Johnson was acting like a spoilt d_ckhead sjw. Quit looking for excuses for him!! That was what was wrong with the Oz team! They were acting and feelin'soooo entitled!!
That ashes 2013 pitches was on another level🔥🔥🔥+ pace of Johnson..... 2014 pitches to an extent But 2018,2020 pitches vs India was nothing infront of 2013-14...
KP laughing, he knew whaT he was doing! Going to miss KP playing he was a great batsman no matter which team you supported, he was very entertaining. Thanks for the memories KP.
In my opinion Kevin Pietersen is one of the coolest cricketer when it comes to sledging. He kept his mind cool, perhaps felt compassionate or pity for Johnson after that receiving such harsh treatment.
KP one of the best, always loved him coming over for the ashes, great competitor, always loved a good heckle with the crowd, dished it out to us as good if not better then what he got, seems he will be missed by everyone in the world bar the english
See so many indians in the comments and being one myself, i can confirm this was hands down one of the best Ashes ever. Fact that i’d wake up at 6 in the morning just to see Mitch Johnson marauding down the pitch and bowling at scorching speeds was worth it. That was his ferocious best.
This series we all witnessed the blood curdling bowling from the Mitchell Johnson thru out... He absolutely nailed into English players and was great Ashes after that famous 2005 season. The moustaches was as deadly as his bowling.
Just Imagine for a while....!! Day 3 on Spicy Perth pitch, hovercast condition, gust wind blowing & Mitchell Johnson having the Ball in his hand...🥶✨✨🔥
