Rabbit I'm a builder using x16 99 percent done but now I have to keep having to one hour it with a chief personal what do you charge and how do I get a hold of you respectively
Does this work with double wall systems? I use a 15" wall consisting of an 11" double wall and then a vertical 2x4 strapped wall... Love the enthusiasm! I had to watch the opening a couple of times to soak it in.
WTF did I just see?!!!! I'm so near the retirement door that I wonder if I can comprehend what I just saw...OK, I get it, macros do wonderful things, but I had no idea this could be the end result of a well functioning set up. The only issue I have is that the code differences between the US and Canada are actually far more than I care to mention. I also do a lot of work in earthquake plagues regions of Canada's West Coast. Can these be modified enough to work? I obviously need to learn more about this system. Where the hell does one start? And what's this discord you speak of?
Rene, I meant to ask you a related question, I've been using CA for at least a decade now, and one of the hold overs from my Autocad days in line weights, for both the screen and printing. I'd been using it for so long I cannot remember why, but my line weights are half of the default CA style and yours. They create just the right amount of thickness when I generate a PDF, but these thicker line weights that you and CA default to, cause me fits. I'm thinking I need to make the change, but I cannot recall what needs to change?
Id have a hard time believing you use half the line weight as mine...are you using my pro layout and pro plan with the sheet size I spec'd? Or did you change it through importing defaults where you may have missed something? Line weights can come from many different places is why i ask, from layer sets to individual layers to drwaing sheet size and weight settings to layout sheet size and weight settings including individual cad detail sheet sizes and settings. FYI I use a complete different set of line weight settings from chief. I will say you are seeing thicker line weights in this video because these designate continuations from a section cut
Like I said this is a hold over from ACAD, where I had to specify colors as line weights, I had an issue with my print company when I switched and I used the CA defaults. Drawings were big fat lines. So I switched to very thin lines at 1 pixel for patterns, to 10 pixels for heavy. CA starts at 18 and goes up from there. Right now my PDF's look great.@@rabbittdesign8482
This is a very complex system to build and requires a great number of macros and coordinating pieces to build. Easily 400-500 hours into the development of this system. I do not teach on how to build it but you can always buy the complete system. It is in the Pro Plan within the shop at rabbittdesign.net/shop
