The Molchanovs Mission is to share our love of freediving with the world. We do this by cultivating the level of knowledge and skill of all freedivers, by building global and local communities that fuel passion for freediving, and by developing gear that provides the best freediving experience possible.
Our inspiration, Natalia Molchanova, is one of the greatest and most decorated freedivers in history. She was a passionate educator and a role model to many in the freediving community. Molchanovs is firmly rooted in her philosophies and approach to freediving, and is continuously updated with the latest developments in education, technology, and scientific research. We are inspired and honored to have had Natalia as our inspiration. Without her, the Molchanovs Movement would not exist today.

Scary water fact (or more so pressure), as you go deeper all the gases n stuff that can, compress in your body, making you denser. So if you're dense enough to sink you will only sink faster (the more you sink), meaning coming up from really deep is harder.

Oh this skyrocketed, so basically I have the biggest fear of the water. 1 year ago I loved it but then I got diagnosed with asthma, and if I ascended to quickly while scuba diving or just diving my lungs could explode and I could die. To make it worse my doctor then read out like a bunch of stories from a book about kids who have died from diving with asthma.

@MolchanovsFreediving
@MolchanovsFreediving Год назад
Risk of Decompression Illness in freediving is much lower than in Scuba diving. To avoid decompression sickness, scuba divers use special tables to calculate the depth and time of safety stops, which they make on the ascent to release the nitrogen from the body. In freediving, we use a set of rules that define the recommended minimum surface interval between breath-hold dives
@MolchanovsFreediving
