Actually linus used to go to gym, and as he likes to emphasize, was "buff" when training martial arts :) Hopefully a real deal, not some dance they call martial arts.... This guy could bench 4060, maybe 4070 at best, the Ti is already too much :)
Recently found your channel and have to admit you have inspired me to go ahead and do my very own an first pc build. Thanks for your content, it’s been ridiculously helpful and you have a real talent for what you do. I’ve learnt loads in the videos I have seen of yours. All the best!
Hey thanks for the guide. I actually came here because I’ve built 1 pc on my life. It was a high end gaming pc I built over 10 years ago. I wanted to use this guide because when I built it I had huge problems with the fist boot-up and the funny part is it was the same type of bios issues you ran into in making this. Now I suppose I should just accept that it’s inevitable. Lol. I used your shopping cart and wanted to mention the chip wasn’t in there, and no power supply either. Total build cost is ~4K
It is worth mentioning that most of Phantek's cases do not come with a reset switch or activity LED's (Not that either is really needed but for a case that costs $130 US I'd expect it too) except for their high end cases like the Elite and Pro Series
I just upgraded from a i5 4400, GTX 970, 8 gb DDR3 ram, 1tb HDD. to a i5 12400f, Gigabyte 2070 super OC, 32 GB DDR5 Ram 1TB PCie 4 NvMe.. I'm hoping that my latest pc build will allow me to experience next gen gaming for the next 5 years at least...
@@keijikai8391 do not go for the rtx 3060 ti, if your in a budget, buy the rtx 2070 super if ur not in a budget buy a rx 6700 xt its better and cheaper (100 dollars cheaper and 10% more better than the 3060 ti)
This is why I plan on paying a system integrator to build my ultimate PC with a 4090 and x3d chip. As a noob Im def not comfortable handling that expensive of equiptment right off. I would have panicked hardcore if that happened to me lol
I started watching your channel about a week ago and I gotta say you have some fantastic content. Extremely underrated! (The “don’t leave” killed me) well deserved like!
Limited yourself to 450w there buddy. I managed to chew down 540w in Control last night! However tbf in most games with DLSS on its under 400W! What a card!
Would love to see a video of the battle between specifically the i9 13900K/KF vs the 7950X3D. The 13900KF is the CPU that I went with for my first ever build, and I’d love to see how that one in particular stacks up against the 7950X3D.
@@nossy232323 So we dont talk about the power consumption, expensive water cooling, power supply with 1000watts need for intel. While amd use only a 20$ air cooler and 600 watts PSU only need.
Problem with the 13900k is there is zero upgrade for the future. You built on a dead platform. The x3d in 2 years just drop a new chip in if you want to upgrade
Always love watching your builds, your enthusiasm and dad jokes gets me excited about it all 😁 Would absolutely LOVE to see a 13900k & 7950X3D face off as I am so stuck on what to get, I game hardcore (I want all the ultra settings etc.) on 1440p but also use Photoshop/Premier Pro/Lightroom a lot for my Photography and video content. I know the 13900K is probably my best go-to option for both but I want the highest FPS possible for games on ultra at 1440p 👏
Dude, you need to do a vlog on the Gigabyte X670E Aorus Master. Since September 2022, I have owned three units of this mobo and each one developed a serious hardware fault. The first one was a pain in the ass to get working so I RMA'd back to OCUK due to defective DIMM and got hassle free refund. The second unit, I purchased from Novatech in October 2022. For the first 4 months it worked fine but for the last two months my pc kept freezing and crashing (especially my 6900XT). I was also getting pink screen and blue screen. Then my pc just died on Saturday 15/04/23. No amount of trouble shooting would get it to restart. It was a nightmare trying to RMA it back to novatech criminals (very dishonest company with blatant anti-consumer practices). I got a phone call from their engineer (James) and he said mobo was tested and it had defective A1 and A2 DIMM. However, they have refused to give me a full refund or even RMA back to Gigabyte as they have falsely accused me of damaging the rear of the mobo. In total, novatech criminals gave four impotent excuses to reject my request for refund and even RMA - 1) Removal of zif bracket voids warranty because I used a Thermalright AM5 cpu holder instead. I reached out to Gigabyte tech support and they said removal of zif bracket does not void warranty. 2) Then novatech criminals said I have had the mobo for 6 months so I am not entitled to refund. I replied saying in UK, the retailer is legally liable for the first 12 months of warranty. Then remaining two years warranty has to be upheld by the manufacturer. 3) Then novatech criminals accused me of damaging the rear of the mobo. Especially around screw holes which caused exposed copper plate. I said that is BS and I sent photo proof of mobo that front and rear were in excellent untarnished condition. I spoke to an independent engineer and showed him photos of the damage. he said it is impossible for that sort of damage to happen to my mobo. he said the damage also had 'track marks'. He said novatech took a flat bladed screw driver to my mobo. 4) Now novatech criminals are saying I sent fake photos of another mobo. I have had enough of their BS and criminal conduct. I hired a solicitor and I am taking legal action against novatech criminals and suing for damages. This dispute aside with novatech, I decided to give the GAM-X670E another go because in that price range (£450-£500) it is hands down the best spec mobo. It even beats my replacement Asus X670E Pro-Art mobo in terms of features and build quality. I purchased a third unit (only three days ago), this time from Amazon UK. I used only one RAM module (Crucial 4800MHz) in default DIMM A2. Installation of W10-64B was fine but ten minutes inside windows and my pc totally crashed. Would not reboot. Keyboard LED kept flashing. Same as Novatech mobo issue. Defective DIMM A2. I removed RAM from A2 and installed in B2. PC rebooted but W10 installation was lost. Had to reinstall. Once done, W10 not picking up various hardware and pc kept crashing again. So I had enough and RMA'd back to Amazon for a full refund. I also found 7 other guys on Amazon-UK who bought this brand/model mobo but experienced very similar problems as myself. They also got fed up and had to RMA and purchased Asus, Asrock and MSI mobos instead. Also, 'pc centric' was building a high end 7950X gaming pc. He also used this GAM-X670E but he could not get his pc to boot (again, DIMM/RAM issues). He removed the GAM-X670E and used an Asus X670E Strix instead and it worked perfectly. I emailed Gigabyte UK yesterday and told them the problem - inherent manufacturing defect wrt DIMMs and the manufacturer is legally liable for this. I got a BS reply saying they are not a retailer. I said I will take legal action against them for releasing a defective product to market. Gigashyte then suggested if my RMA is requested directly to them and if it is accepted, they can try and repair my mobo, but if it cannot be repaired they will give me a refurbished unit but refurbished unit will not have 3 years manufacturer warranty. I said that is a BS deal. I want a brand new, factory sealed unit with full 3 years manufacturer warranty. I still have had no reply. I spoke to a well known UK, online pc company about this problem and the guy is convinced that Novatech damaged my mobo whilst it was in their repair shop (I believe knowingly vandalised) because they did not want to be legally responsible for giving me a full refund of £500 or giving a brand new replacement mobo for free. My solicitor agrees that novatech behaved in criminal manner. I checked Trust Pilot customer reviews for novatech and they did the same thing to another customer in March 2023. The accused him of damaging the 4070Ti pcb. That is not an innocent coincidence. That is a pattern of fraudulent behaviour. This dispute aside with novatech criminals, there is an inherent and very serious hardware fault with the Gigabyte Aorus Master X670E. To date, Gigashyte have refused to acknowledge this issue, Please look into this and bring it to the attention of the pc community. For pc enthusiasts living in UK - DO NOT BUY FROM NOVATECH CRIMINALS. ALSO, ALWAYS TAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF YOUR MOBO WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT FRESH FROM THE RETAILER. IF IT DEVELOPS A FAULT THEN TAKE PHOTOS OF TOP, BACK, CPU SOCKET, ETC OF MOBO AND MAKE A NEW VIDEO RECORDING OF IT. THIS WAY YOU WILL HAVE MATERIAL (LEGAL) EVIDENCE THAT YOU DID NOT DAMAGE THE MOBO.
Perfect rig in my eyes! really like that chassis too, tempted by upgrading to a 4090 but moving from an AM4 to AM5 motherboard is not appealing when only just upgraded my previous rig to a Ryzen 9 5900x and 3080TI, think ill stick with this rig for a while
Building something similar and I know next Gen is about to come but my brother is building a mid end PC and when next GEN comes out, he’ll get my last Gen parts
I want to buy a gaming and work PC and have £2500 to spend but as I'm not up on all the components and compatibility etc. What the best way to make sure I'm getting the best bang for my buck and make sure I have options for future upgrades. Do I just have to dig in and do a load of research?
Honestly if you don't want the headache and just want something that works then I would recommend a prebuilt system from someone like Scan Computers. With your budget you'll definitely get something decent.
@@domainofscience I would recommend pcspecialist. They offer some really good prices and all you have to do is config the options you want and they will actually build it for you. for instance, i managed to configure it to £2,489.00. That's with a Ryzen 9 7900x3d, 16gb DDR5 5200mhz ram and a 4070ti.
I got all the speed I need gaming on a Ryzen 9 5900X, RX6700XT, 64 GB RAM. My 2nd gaming PC is the same but with an RTX3070Ti. I have brand new Sapphire Radeon RX5700XT Nitro+, and a Powercolor Red Devil RX6700XT GPUs still in their boxes. I might build another system with a Ryzen 7 3700X I have laying around using the RX5700XT. My gaming monitor is an LG 32" that's only 165 Hz max. No need to do build anything faster than that.
Literally just built my own version of this PC lol Amazing PC is an understatement lol Mine has: 7950x3D ASUS ROG X670E Crosshair Hero Corsair H150i Elite LCD XT Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB 6000Mhz CL36 (Same as video) Corsair RMx1200 Shift PSU ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4090 Corsair 5000D RGB Airflow
I'm building something similar when I can get my hands on the last piece (which is the 7950x3d) but mine has a Corsair shift 1200 watt psu and arctic freezer 2 aio and a 7900xtx as the gpu instead of the 4090. All AMD rig. Can't wait to get the last piece to build it.
I found your channel recently, and it has helped me learn so much about building a PC, I’ve devicided to start saving and I will soon buy my own. Maybe you could make a tutorial video for a build similar to what I’m getting? 👀
Hello. I want to buy i5-13600k or i7-13700k. But my preference is to spend less money. For me, it is only important that the software does not lag or get stuck and the speed is low when working for 3D work and heavy rendering. Long output time is not important to me. I wanted to make sure if the i5-13600k can run 3D programs and rendering for heavy tasks smoothly and without problems. thank you.
im not the creator, but if you want to spend less money i would recommend the ryzen 3000-5000 series or intel core 10000-12000 series, yes it isnt the latest, but if your on a budget, its not a bad choice, and should be able to do most you need it to do. im writing this comment with dreams of a gaming pc with an i5-4590, and even that can run blender, yes, it does take time to render, but that is why i recommended what i did.
Can you please help me with fps on laptop Cosmos pyxis windows 11 15.6" because when I was trying to play mon bazou on my laptop I was getting 4 to 5 FPS I don't know what is going on because it is new laptop I only use it 1s I need help ASAP because I am about to give up all day yesterday I tried to find out what was going on
That's an absolute crap of a laptop for gaming. It has very low end hardware. Not much you can do with it for gaming. You can try lowering the graphics settings of your game to see if that helps, but if not, then you're out of luck.
I have had two Gigashyte X670E Aorus Master mobos and both of them developed serious corruptions. I also found 7 Amazon UK reviewers who had similar problems as myself with this mobo. Gigashyte released a defective item to market.
Been wanting to do my first build and I've been looking for a nice, all black/RGB look and this is perfect! I had your channel come up on my feed yesterday and I have to say, I really like your energy and content! Thanks for the great videos! One question I had in regards to the 4090 and space. Does it seen like there's room in there for a larger non-FE 4090? Like say ASUS TUF Gaming OC 4090? The Founder's 4090 is 304mm and the Asus is 348mm so I wasn't sure if I could fit that in this build as I can get it for almost $300 cheaper.
Just bought a new gaming PC at Micro center - They had me go with the 7900x3d - X670E crosshair hero- RTX 4090 white ROG - 990 pro 2tb Samsung - Tforce delta ddr5 2x32-6000- & nzxt z73 kraken liquid cooler- Any insight or feedback would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks cody
I bought a new motherboard recently and as I was waiting for the new cpu to arrive I look up the motherboard and compatibility with the cpu only to find out I needed to flash the bios, this I must after many years building my own pcs I have never needed to do, so I read that I could just do it with just power supply connected not even in the case, so I did it just resting on the packaging box, so put the bios onto the usb followed the instructions which actually said do not have the cpu, mem or ssd connected as may cause issues, so flashed it like you did holding the button then waiting for light to stop flashing, got the cpu in the post set it all up and it was perfectly fine, maybe that was the issue you had?
Porque geralmente preferem para jogos o i9 13900k ou o i9 14900k, sendo que o ryzen 9 7950x3d geralmente tem um pouco mais de fps ? Alguém sabe o motivo?
I want to build a gaming PC so I've been watching a ton lately & it's been a huge help with everything you go through. It's been about 15 years since I built a machine & things are much different now. But then I look at the prices of everything & I have to just resign myself to the fact that I'm gonna have to go console only. If only I wasn't required to make sure my daughter has a place to live & food in her belly lol.
Were you able to figure out why the MOBO wasn't working? I am currently trying to build the exact same build that you showcased in this video so just thinking before I jump the ship
hi mate i watched some video from you and meybe u could consider making some kind of video about best gaming pc up to 700£ - 1000 - 1500 etc. after watching you i rl want to build my own first gaming pc but the biggest issue for ms is which way to go what parts to pick what with what will work best etc :)
SINCE you have built it and I understand is for gaming, could you do us 3D artists a favour and run Blender benchmarks (some scenes) as this combination has exactly what it takes for 3D artists? Thank you in advance for your time!!
I had a certain PC store in thet states (extremely popular by creators) build a PC very similar to this build, just different mobo went with the x670e from aorus, and the MSI suprim liquid, waited 6 hours for them to do the build, they finally give me the all good hand me the PC and I make the 3 hour drive back, get home day 1 it BSODS, but not only 1 BSOD I am talking like I can not even use the browser for longer than 10 minutes without a BSOD. So I finally get enough time to drop it off to get it fixed, and they say okay cool it will be ready in a week, that was a day ago and I have yet to get an update. Womp womp womp.
If you go into the advanced tab you can set your defaults in there for the paper size so you never have to set it again.. doing it any other way will cause you issues..
