Got the 240hz & RTX 2070 version of this. Never exceed 70c while playing games (with undervolt and some tweaks). Great thermal and overall performance for $1200~ (bought while on sale). Love this machine.
You're my favorite content creator, simple and to the point. I'm a little confused as to why some laptops' reviews are on your main channel, and some of them are on this sub-channel.
Why not legion? Cause i guess u choose prefer nitro 5 than m15 cause price right i guess? If so, why choose nitro and not legion, cause legion is quite affordable too
I went for the Zephyrus G14 with Ryzen 7, and RTX 2060 Forza Horizon at Full HD and anything else set at ULTRA... stable 90FPS. Turbo Mode set... Literally trashed the MacBook Pro we have in the house at Cinebench (1890 pts vs 10027 pts on Multi-Core)
Hey dude i never know you have separate channel on laptop i just found this channel randomly, why don't you put stories on your main channel that i have another channel focused on laptops. Nive work and subscribed Your benchmark style is way more super man keep it up i appreciate your hard work
Does anyone else have a problem with this laptop. My laptop’s RPM decreases in turbo mode which results in high temperatures (97 degrees) due to this the FPS fluctuates. I have given the laptop for service and there was no hardware issue. Plz help
AMD: our new laptop CPUs runs cooler than Intel's Asus: so you don't need good cooling? AMD: that's not what we me- Asus: (cripples cooling on AMD laptops anyway) AMD: .....
Thanks, probably not this generation, been too busy and it's a bit late for me to spend time covering current gen hardware at this point with CES just around the corner.
I have the same issue with the spacebar on the G14, i usually use mechanical keyboard to play game and rarely use laptop keyboard for gaming so when the issue come, i know it right away
@@JarrodsLaptops yes i saw that, but other reviewers said that this laptop has really bad thermal issues. so i just wondering if that true or not, because it is really a steal deal with rtx 2060 MQ only for 1000$ in my country (indonesia). btw, indonesia price for laptop is like 300$ more
Got the gs66, max of 70 degrees C on CPU on full load with gaming, and like 65 to 70 degrees C on GPU on full load as well. Don't know what people are talking about with thermal issues on the gs66 by my unit was suffice. Didn't undervolt either.
Now please test the 2070 max q version. Very thankful for this review. If I had money now, this on top of my list of new laptop to buy. But as of now I'll probably save for nvidia 3000 series and new amd cpus in laptops for 2021.
Tengo esta laptop y tengo problemas con el teclado y es que apagado o recién prendido las teclas se aplastan normal pero cuando se empieza a calentar, las teclas se vuelven duras al aplastar, alguna solución?
Please review lenovo ideapad gaming 3 4800h variant. In india it is price around 72990 rs or 1000$ including tax, which is killer if temps are good. Great video!!!
I got an acer nitro 5 with rtx 2060 and i7-10750h , has the best cooling on a laptop i have personally ever seen , yet that cpu hits very high temps doing basically noooothing , intel should really reconsider their architecture
Where did you get a m15 with gtx 1660ti and 4K panel? I only saw two gray models with a gtx 1660ti + 1080p 144hz and my RTX 2070 max-q + 1080p 240hz. There is a black model with 4K panel but that has a RTX 2060
Quick question. What’s the guide for the thermal graph? There are two numbers and am assuming the higher one is the peak and the lower one is the average. Is that correct or am I getting something wrong?
@@JarrodsLaptops I see , thanks a lot. I have legion 5 with 4600h and rtx 2060 115w and at first I was looking at FPS and saw mine being lower a bit, then I've tried to set FOV to default and indeed those tests on RU-vid and in the reviews are on default
I noticed in the armoury crate you have manual mode, is it an exclusive feature for zephres? Because on my tuf laptop i only have 3 modes and no manual mode
Well do we even have a choice in that regard we only have 60hz variant cause 144hz is not available and if it ever was it was over 100k . Anyways how's the experience? You enjoying using it or felt like 120hz or 144hz was a must in this laptop?
@@avatar_bro Actually my budget was around 80k INR. So I went with this one. Also, I'm not a competitive gamer so 60Hz is enough at ultra settings (and for some games High) Apart from that, I'm enjoying this one.
brother I already connected a 4k hdmi to my acer predator 265hz monitor but it only recognizes the 60hz on the external monitor, and when I want to put 265hz from the nvidia control panel, the external monitor turns black, can you help me?
What about the Asus TUF gaming? The variant with: 144hz AMD Ryzen 9 4900H with Radeon Graphics GTX 1660 TI 16 GB ram and dual HDD & SSD This one or the M15?
I own Asus M15 with similar cpu+gpu, and I run games on silent mode. I get 100+ fps for 75 degrees temps. Since few days i'm facing fps fluctuation between 25 to 100fps. Tried every method (like updating, resetting, reinstalling, gamedvr, etc) but doesn't work. I don't want to run on other modes because temps go beyond 95 degrees and performance throttles at 98 degrees. Any suggestions please?🙏🙏
I have an m15 and these number are low tbh and mine is stock. I mainly play warzone and im getting 110 fps on performance if i go unlimited turbo is close to 144
