You can make it a x2 golden chest farm. After looting the first chest on the pillar then jump off and fly to the tower in the settlement seen to the left at 2:03. you land on a platform on the middle of the tower, jump around the side, climb up, grapple and loot the second chest. its pretty quick when you know where it is i've gotten more legendaries from the second one ;)
This earned a subscribe. I am farming that chest in the kindlewastes at level 19. I have a wall and ceiling leading up to the chest 😁Around level 10 to 12, I found that if you set up your flame alter at the abandoned Hunters camp, located northeast of the Revelwood Fast Travel, there are 3 chests, 2 wood, one silver (so they can be in the boundary of your flame alter and still regen when you restart). There is also a a table next to the silver chest that gives wood planks a nails, a stack of iron arrows on the steps and breakables that give potions, bandages etc. There are also 9 hazelnut trees across from it, if you go over the hill you will find a bunch of forest beets and a boars den for meat. there is also clay nearby and a ton of hardwood. I keep that flame there because I can reduce the weapons to runes and save on some items I would otherwise have to make.
Next to the second chest, there are 4 pillars with a pile of dirt in the middle, dig down in the dirt, and theres a hidden dungeon with a bunch of chests aswell.
You guys are always missing the absolute best spot imho for the endgame armor sets... From the Kindlewaste Fasttravel point fly south on the first bit of land a third of the way between the spire and the south eastern most sun temple, there is a tomb covered by sand. Remove the sand and you find a small tomb with 4 silver chests (lvl25 drops) and 4 to 5 skeleton enemies. I usually get 2 set pieces per run. if you place your altar just right, you can keep the entrance open (inside building area) without covering the chests... A bonus golden chest sits on top of the small sand hill a view steps west of the tomb entrance, that's the one you showed...
Hey guys have you try Sapphire Strand area there are 2 gold, 3 silver and couple of regular chests. The last silver is locked need lockpick. I was getting common to legendary items
I got a legendary shroud wand in a chest I found in the desert and it is MELTING everything at max level (as long as its not inside the shroud but you just use fire on them).
Did they patch the 2nd spot? I got the chest once and it doesn't reset. EDIT! If this happens. your flame altar is too close. I just moved it a bit further so the chest isn't inside the build area. :)
Farm2 location - who likes more adventure style and not continous log off/log on to rrefresh the chest - check that stone structure close by.....dig in the middle through the sand and expect big surprise :-)
this is "low level crap" and it takes too long. there are level 25 chests that you can loot in a 10-15 seconds cycle. my only question is: is there a difference between golden and "ancient" chests? and where is one of those ancient chests in max. level? in the eastern sun temple the weapons are great and level 25, but armor is only level 23...
Any level 20 chests are good to go, coz weapon gain levels with upgrades. So level 20 legendary weapon can be upgraded to level 25 weapon with stats and enchantments scaling to that level. P.S. i finally found where i can get Legendary Fleshgrinder, i'v only seen epic version of it.
@@citana2443 the chest does reset every so often, but yeah on a dedicated server leaving doesn’t do anything anymore. Even when I was the only one on the server. I’m not sure what the time frame is.. but I feel like I went back an hour later and the loot was in the chest.. still a good easy spot to find a legendary chest tho!
This is normal since when you play single player you are the host when there is a dedicated server even if none is inside the server is still active so the chests don't reset when you go out and in again. Do it on a single run. I did it with sun temple, and it's dope. Now I am searching if there is a new spot with the new update and maybe a new max level
This is not the fastest way ... There is a level 25 ornament chest in the open desert which can be farmed without any progress needed other than the glider to get there. Ithas 30% chance to give you legendary items including the best armor sets in the game.
I've explored everything there is to do. Now I just want a legendary wand. I haven't gotten a single 1, in 50 hours of play. Even at lower level. My other choice before this was just raiding sun temples over and over. Which takes longer and is just as monotonous.
I’ve 100% the early access. I discovered every location on the map. I searched them thoroughly for any hidden chests and letters for stories and side quests. Hell I even read all the stories. At this point I would start trying to speed run raids/bosses for legendary gear, but since those are (sadly) behind random world chests… here we are.
