With a high quality scope, yes that would work too. But this will work with any scope, no matter how cheap and inaccurate the clicks are. It will also work at any yardage you want to sight in at, no matter what your scope’s detents are for movement. It’s irrelevant with this method. That’s why it’s the fastest sight in method there is. Most good gunsmiths use this method so as not to waste ammo. No bore sighting needed. If you can hit any size target, the next shot will be in the bullseye if you do this correctly. There is no faster method
@@FullQuiverOutdoors Respectfully disagree. Most hunters want there gun sighted in at 100 yds, your method requires a rock solid rest , mine doesn't. Bore sighting a white target on a dark background at 100 yds is extremely quick and easy.
@@rickeywilliams9848so you’re saying you don’t need a rock solid rest at 100yds for your method of sight in? You are a far better shooter than me! As the video title says, this is still the fastest sight in there is. It’s literally how long range shooters can instantly dial in a tough shot while in the middle of a timed stage while still down in the rifle scope. They see the bullet splash, hold on the target and dial to the splash and ring the gong. Yes, bore sighting is easy. That’s not the point of the video. You still have take a shot, figure out what your clicks are on your scope, dial it and hope your scope is accurate. I take two shots quickly, I’m sighted in and on to developing a load or practicing in no time. I’ll stand by my claim, it is the fastest sight in method there is and used by gunsmiths all over the country everyday.
