I test rode the Brompton T-Line and Tern X11 in the last two weeks. The X11 blew my mind how fast and smooth it was. Still, it is ugly and the fold is clumsy. The X11 I tried weighed 21 pounds. Honestly, I'm on the fence about both of these bikes. I'm 6' tall and the T-Line was jittery and rough on NYC streets though the lightweight and fold was fantastic.
This might be sacreligious but I think most Brompton owners would be much happier with 18" wheels. It would still be a small fold but I doubt Brompton would ever do this.
@@bmwofboganville456 I don't think this is sacrilegious at all. I think you're right. Apparently, Brompton is experimenting with a 20" inch wheel bike. Brompton as usual, living on the edge! 🤣
Ridiculous, form over function in every possible way. Extremely expensive and most of them don't even fold. And I thought Bromptons where expensive for what they are. But honstely please explaing to me why anyone would want to ride these things?
