The main issue isnt that people are using auto farm. The issue is that people feel the need to auto farm. I get that the game is supposed to be grindy but forcing people to repeat the same quest hundreds of times to get the drops is just lazy and annoying game design in my opinion. Either go all in on the mobile game design and make auto farming convenient and easy. Or remove auto farming entirely but dramatically increase drops. Thats my hot take but idk maybe I just value my time more than the average gamer. Like if I am spending my time playing a game I want it to be fun, challenging, and engaging. Farming the same easy fights 100s of times is none of those things. But to be fair one could argue its not necessary because I was able to clear all the content in the game without having to grind too much. So there is that. But once they add harder fights that require you to be more min maxed I hope they also reduce the grind or find a way to make it more fun.
They should of combined rising with relink in a all in one game where you can grind on pve then take your character to pvp, atleast this would of giving it more content in the years spent on this game.
@@jasonbrown2587 People enjoy what they are doing when they are rewarded properly for their time and effort. It's a game, not a job. It shows how shallow the game is when its been 11 days and they are AFK farming due to crappy grind. The devs forced horrible reroll mechanics with transmutes, a seeded gacha with curios that can take hundreds of hours and still not see the rare sigils, and then terminus weapon grind being super low drop and needing a low drop item you need to farm a ton of. Just for a single character. Add on top of this that the game is designed to push damage cap, max out damage, everyone builds pretty much the same sigils 95% of the time, to make fights fast cause you can't build for any real defense and are punished for having too much HP with the terminus weapon. And the later difficulties are the same small pool of bosses but now you fight 2-3 of them at once. Don't make the game overly grindy, don't hide rare gear behind horrible gacha rng mechanics, don't punish the player for wanting to do anything but build damage. When the game is filled with a ton of useless padding then players will find some way to reduce it or do it afk so they can come back actually play instead of grind.
6:16 "you can make the kind of moral decision". He's saying as if AFK farming in this game is immoral. Seriously? I'm all for grind and been spending more than 150hrs these 14 days for the game. Initially, I fought all battles. But when it comes to fighting the SAME battles for hundreds of times just for mats, I just feel the need to AFK from then. Because I want it to be fun and enjoyable rather than fighting the same thing over and over again. RNG made it worse sometimes too. Farming for hours on the same battle for a specific mat is not fun. Those who are lucky on drops shouldn't be shitting on others just because they choose to do it differently from you. Having connotations on that "you can make the kind of moral decisions" sentence is really uncalled for.
In my opinion if they want to fix it, they should just create proud quests where silver centrums are guaranteed drops since you can literally do the mission and yield nothing.
I see Chromatic Vision is the best quest to farm for them on. It's 3 lizards each drop a horn and you can turn in 8 of each type for 1 silver plus a chance for the silver itself all in 1 quest.
@TagTheLegend Just a heads up, I'm pretty sure that those double Aegis sigils on your Terminus weapon characters are messing up your builds. You need less than 45000 Max HP to benefit from the huge separate Damage Cap bonus that the weapon gives. Your damage output is way lower than it would be otherwise. Maybe I'm wrong, but either way I think it's helpful to point out for clarification.
i got extremely lucky. spent one day finishing proud and day two it dropped on my less than 30 runs grind. i'm working on maxing out the ascension then focus on my sigils.
Grinded for like 2 days just to get all terminus weapon lol... every run was like 6-8 minutes... Ill be lucky for 5 minutes per run... it was hell but it was also enjoyable 😅... I run it solo with my AI powers around 17k-17.5k.. while my main is 19.8k...
Getting Terry weapons is a pain in the ass, I'd advise if you aren't ready to fight Proto 100+ times unless you're lucky, I say ignore it or play with friends. I got them all, and trust me its not fun or easy.
I've just been farming the first proud fire wyrm. Maxing terminus weapons requires you level all the other weapons to 150 so you need a LOT of large crystals. 5 Large Crystals per run, aswell as raw centrum drops. A solid group I've been clearing within 50s-1m 15s, yields alot of useful stuff for all aspects of upgrading terminus since you need hundreds and hundreds of crystals. Probably a viable one to AFK farm too
@@DavidOblivion Yeah! Griffins is definently better if youre trying to farm to level up weapons and such but, fire wyrm is really good for farming curios aswell since its fast with good groups.
You just need to fully upgrade the other weapons for a specific character to fully upgrade the terminus weapon? Just get them to 150? Or do you have to awaken them too? Sorry just confused on how to get the purple aura version of the weapon
Ok, I cannot for the life of me find where I can even use these Silver Centrums. And I have A LOT OF THEM. Where can you even use these in the Blacksmithy?? Because it doesn’t even show me the option to use them at all! Also, a tip. If you don’t want your character running into the wall, make them lock on to the boss to also let them contribute to doing damage. Of course, that defeats the entire purpose of a true AFK, but it saves a lot of time.
Im sure they added the assist feature for the ability to afk farm. The question is how they can improve it...ive been kicked out of my afk grind many times and its frustrating if you thought your game has been farming but instead theh were just standing in front of the quest npc...if they can add a feature where this wont happen i can see more longevity even though it doesn't sound like it would help it will definitely make the grinding more tolerable. Its one thing to afk farm 8/10 mats and then manually farming the last 2 pieces as opposed to manually farming all 10 pieces you will easily burn out.
I really fedup with this rng drop for terminus weapon been hunting 82 times but no terminus weapons, i thought like when you fight the boss u get it asap but its not actually :(
Have you tried swapping out a couple of damage sigils for defensive ones? Aegis is particularly good. Two level 5 aegis can put your health high enough that you don't get 1 shot. You can then stack DMG on your AI and let them do the work while you survive. Use ranged characters as companions, they do well in that fight.
A lot of us end game players often goes to matchmaking to do Maniac and Proud quests. Playing in coop will help you learn what to do and not to do in certain bosses by watching how others play. Observe how they play and don't just smack the bosses aimlessly. I completed all Proud quests in S++ with only one fully built character by playing in coop only. This way it helped me conserve materials because I don't have to spend it on my NPC teammates. And since I learned a lot from coop and I do not even watch guide videos on defeating bosses (only farming guides), I have become a really good player that I've become always the MVP in all of my coop sessions in the end game with 999 commends at this moment.
tested this mission after long time (my first clear was nightmare... C rank and I hated this mission I think i was max 7k power when I did this first time) and now im surprised that my AI team can do this on 3min average really nice afk thx
I think for the time they spent making this game it lacks content and they could of done a better job, im not hating but somewhat disappointed its to damn repetitive and adding more classes to do the same crap aint gonna help it.
Without other mats for upgrading/awekening your terminus weapon. This video will be irrelivant. I rather hunt them while getting mats like from Payt-A, Dark Dragon or White Dragon. It's more fun that way than doing this exploit. You need some of those mats from the bosses i said plus they also drop Silver Centrums. Plus you cant fully awaken your Terminus Weapon by just doing this. So kind of a click bait. Smh not recommended
this game has no anti cheat you can use the fling trainer and still play online...it has a game speed up x5 that is a godsend in solo play..the amount of time you would waste in a loading screen or dumb boss intro cutscene farming all these missions really adds up
There is no point in using all the cheat and then still playing the game. People grinding on the game because they want to get that shiny little weapon, min maxing their characters, etc. But if u just gonna use a trainer, you might as well just quit after completing the main story.

@mikec5400 if u just going so during the cutscene, i guess it's acceptable. Even with skip setting on game options, they still show all that boss appearances cutscenes.
I get its repeatative to do the content over and over again. But that's its gameplay loop, ive clocked 150 hours and still enjoying every moment. I don't understand why AFK farming is a thing, once you have it upgraded, what then. You have no more content and a game you didnt actually play. All the power to you if you do it, I just don't understand why.
I have no idea what people talking about no dropping, i farmed manually all Terminus weapons and currently missing only one awakening sigil to have all of em. Only 110+ hrs into the game :D
I agree with you to a certain extent, while the game design is shallow when compared to many other games, we can look at monster hunter, a game with a very similar game design to this. Its incredibly popular and this is just my opinion, but I believe it's so popular because of a few major factors, but the one thing that sticks out to me is how well polished the said lazy game design is. The same idea comes with this game, it may be very linear game design but what it does do it does extremely well in the form of combat, progression, character agency, music, and overall presentation of its systems, and we cant forget about how incredibly smooth the netcode and matchmaking in this game is (still a couple kinks to flesh out but still impressive considering it released already so polished). Now let's think about how much potential something this polished has, let's look at dark souls series and how good it was, then they took most of their systems in place that they polished over the years of DS 1-3 and implemented and elevated their souls games into what we now have in Elden Ring. So I'm looking forward to what Cygames in store for the series since they have such a strong and well polished (lazy) game design already fleshed out.
Chill with the whole this needs to get fix. It was put into the game for a reason and the reason it’s disabled past maniac. Why make it harder if new players come when new content is released

Geez, people these days moaning about a grind in a semi online game... God forbid you have to put in some time/effort to get what you want. Gamers these day just aren't built the same I guess. The grind in this game is not a lot at all, you just want to have it now so you don't feel like your missing out or something. It took me a couple of hours to get and max a Terminus weapon. As an example, it took me 100's of hours of farming to get a Unique Balrog Skin in D2 LOD back in the day.
You got lucky. Most people aren't. Braging abuot your good drops while crying over people having poor luck and wanting to bypass a boring grind is rather petty.
Grindy ass games like this one employ artificial padding to keep you playing longer. If you enjoy this level of grind or more then you have no respect for your time. It's also funny how you jump from people who don't like to grind and want it easy. From one extreme to another with no in-between solution. 😂
I don’t understand the sense of achievement in doing this. Took me eight hours Farm time to get all weapons. Had enough stuff to fully max out three of them right away with the total amount of playtime I have in the game. Since I always only ever concentrate on two or three characters when it comes to games like these. It was really fairly easy. Although if I knew it was going to take that long, I would not have unlocked every character first. just an early tip. Sucks cause I hear the grind is for real for some people. Still don’t see the point in playing a game if you’re not going to play it🤔
Ah yes Ppl being introduced to the ricefields in relink. And ppl are complaining for grinding that is done much easier and higher drop rates than the browser game. Post ur grid.
AFK farming is a result of poor drop rates, horrible gacha and far too much grind. Cry all you want but most people don't like their time being wasted on draconic mechanics that exist for the sole reason of padding out play time. This happens every game that does crap like this. When you force a horrible long grind on players then they will find a way to speed it up or bypass it. When you reward properly for time and effort spent then they won't. Doesn't help the boss count is far too low where higher difficulty is just fighting 2-3 bosses are once or that damage from both players and boss damage is too high. Being 1-2 shot isn't fun and you can't build a proper tank build while players can gear to kill the boss in a couple minutes. You don't need instant gratification but you can't have something take a hundred hours to obtain either. The best online games realize this. And thus retain high player count because they have a good reward system and lots of content or content that is dynamic each time you replay.
These are the type of things that end up killing the end game for a lot of players and they never realize it until it's too late and their experience is ruined. Stuff like this also prematurely push es a game to expire sooner than it probably would for chunk of players. If you folks want to do this type of thing do you? I'm not begrudging you for it but understand what happens when you do stuff like this. There is a consequence to it and I'm not talking about the developers. Nerfing it or anything like that.
