Thanks! That helped a bunch. I learned to get the fast travel upgrade. After you the 3rd jewelery bag set up camp right there and fast travel to Emerald Ranch to sell it. Then taking the train back to Wallace Station get you very close right back to this chest, it costs $9 but I believe it's overall more efficient than fast travelling to strawberry and walk all the way up there every time. Maybe there's a faster way?
I did the fairvale shanty one a bunch, it's super effective (seriously)! addendum: like I said, rode towards the loft then turned around & retraced my tracks.
If you ride the opposite direction, under the bridge to the far side of the junction and then return, its shorter and quicker. Closing the box makes it easier to see also, but getting a million will take you almost 20,000 rides. That's not short or simple. It's tedious af.
much quicker but agreed, it's tedious - and depending on the satchel, you can only carry 3 jewelry bags at one time, so then you'd need to sell them at a fence then go back - Unless you just keep taking the bill fold only.
The burnt town of limpany gold glitch is the best way to get rich fast. You get 30 bars of gold, sell them to the fence and go back and get 30 more. You can do this over and over.
@@Lennox1224 I bought the disc about 8 months ago and did all the updates after I installed the game. It is still working for me, but I don't use it anymore I have learned after several playthroughs that you don't need that much cash. You can pick up plenty of money doing story missions, side missions, and treasure hunts.
@@spacequack5470 It still respawns if you close the box and check it every time you pass by same with the box after you burn down the plantation. Most boxes respawn content.
For those who are in the saving jack part of rdr2 there is a clutch to get into new Austin use that and then you can easy make cash or do it as john at start so you can buy the rose Arabian or missouri or just get it free
There's a similar location near the moonstone pond. It's the cabin with a tree fallen on top of it. Head through the roof and search the nightstand for a jewelery bag (large). Leave the drawers open, and either save scum or leave far enough and return.
the one Ive stuck with so far has been the Van Horn Mansion. You walk down to the basement, relieve two sleeping beauties of their mortal woes, loot the closest of them, and the money on the table, then save an reload. takes roughly two minutes. in the span of this video I made 250+ whatever loot I picked off the first guy

My ways for easy money and fast is steal kauffman farm wagon, and sell it to emerald ranch. Its located near mattock pond. Their wagon always respawn there. You can make $100 for each night ($25/wagon). For fast delivery to emerald ranch, just follow the train rail near that farm. Yes its repetitive, but why not ? Easy money, not too far, no risk at all, just take small honor. And its feel more right when make arthur did a real job for making money😂.
I mean...sure...but why though? I mean, if you want to save and reload for hours on end, or ride around in circles for $50 a pop, it's your game and your time, but there isn't much left to spend money on after your first $10K, to include picking up pretty much all weapons (finding or helping strangers), clothing, spam buying cigarettes for the cards, camp upgrades and buying your way to full honor.
If you get 5k you gonna have a hard time to know what spend all that money,unless you want to open a clothes shop business which is not possible in the game.
.... I love this game as much as the next... but in practicality, there's more than enough treasures, loot boxes, upgrade materials i.e. valerian root and the like.... not to mention gang hideouts that you can raid, random gang camps you can raid... again and again and again... you only need to do once for alot of it AND you'll never run out of money.... and once you stash the rest for John's sake.... HE'LL never run out of money.
A game should be fun and do what you want, i think the fanbase needs to make themselves heard and get developers to stop patching glitches that benefit us and nerfing things. I dont want to spend my entire life in a game and its bad enough these jokers wabt real cash out of folk. Im all for Money glitches in games like this its more fun and comfortable instead of a game becoming a chore and your spend weeks, months, years building pittance. The worse thing this game developers ever did was place online trophies amongst story thats bs and nerf the gold bar glitches. I have had this game since launch but only returning to it now before i get my new ps5, because back then i couldnt get past the Uncle and Bear mission as it was glitched and kept corrupting so i binned the game. Ironically it now works after several years but im so anoid about the patches. I wabt money now i have to mess around doing so much lame stuff to have a comfortable amount.
The first thing I always do as soon as cap 2 starts Is get everything I need to craft legand of the east satchel can't stand playing the game and not collecting everything I can. Also in the long run best way to make money while keeping all gold bars for john.
That’s not the easiest way. I got the satchel that lets you hold like 99 bars and then kept stuffing bars into it. It was pretty crazy at the burn down sheriffs office. Then I donated to the gang and did it again. I had way more money I could ever need. I didn’t know you didn’t to have so much money. Dutch kept complaining about being broke all the time and I’m like ninja! We have like 2 million dollar between the two of us, how much more do we need to go to Tahiti? 😂 It’s too bad there wasn’t really a use for all that money.
If you bought every single item in the game it costs like 45K-50K max. Adjusting for honor levels and all that. So it would take you a lifetime to spend a million Lars in story mode lol. All that’s left after buying everything is buying ammo and food and tonics. Which are a couple bucks at the high end. So spending 950,000$ on that shit would take forever.
Do not open the box at Ridgewood farm. Then you can collect as many bars of gold as you want. If you manage to take it out of the open box, it will not re-spawn. Best to leave it closed.
@@kevooooooon I mean exactly that. Do not open the box. Get up on the table, and kick the box. The box will not move, but the gold bar will fly out through the side of the box. Sometimes it lands on the ground. Then jump off the table and pick it up. If you open the box, there is a chance that you will pick something up out of the box. if you do, this trick will not be repeatable.
This kind of glitch its happening to GTA V too remember those every guns can pick it up in the whole map? Just pick it up and leave the Area at great distance and came back again and then the pickable items will respawn again
I have 3000 now and I don't know what to spend it on. I just gamble a lot, spend it on barhs and clothes. I have all my weapons upgraded to max. I eat what I hunt, craft my ammo and tame my horses. Feed your horse, it's stressing me out.
Is it more than going in the hills to the shack with the gold nugget ? You can only go there 5 times, go sell it and go 5 more times. Rinse, lather, repeat !

You could only hold three large bags of jewelry at a time. And is nowhere to sell it close. Plus the other dude was right You don't need a million dollars in this game
I doubt its wort a Million. However it is a good way to collect cards. Personally I prefer to go the other way, under the rail tracks to the corner with the tree, and then back.
The ingot at ridgewood farm is easier for me to get by standing over it on the table and shooting arrows at it til it goes out far enough then i pick my arrows up too.. BUT its better coming in and out from the opposite side of where you came in. On the right side of the spot is better. You entered and left from the left. Enter and exit from the right and run on the path to the second big rock you see on the right of the path then go back. Get the ingot the best way for you. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I know I finished main story as Arthur and had $16,886. Had all the guns there was to buy and modified too. Just about all the outfits you could buy. Shame you can't give money away.
Fun fact; after you bust Micah out of jail and go meet him outside strawberry to rob the stagecoach, you can sneak up on him from above and hrow Dynamite at him! You can't kill him, but you can watch him run like a chickenshit!
