I have a tip....don't be shy...and ask for viewers to "Like" the video. This greatly helps (RU-vid algorithm) you get noticed and helps to build your audience.
Your videos never fail to deliver. Your shooting style, the light, the humor, and your creativity and style are all top notch. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. I really hope that RU-vid makes you a lot of money and we see you in your new house/garage one day! Not that what you have now isn't great, just hoping you move on a continual slope upwards with all of your hard work which deserves reward!
Lovely work as always - I particularly enjoyed the making of the handles. And I'm greatly impressed with your stash of 'loot'. And how efficiently stored it all is! Thanks for sharing.
Lovely piece. You have the eye of a skilled designer. It isn’t enough for you to refinish you always add a touch here or there that makes the piece stylish and modern. That is a real talent.
What a WOWSER!!! I Love that you use the noise of various tools!! The dark stain with the natural wood is Gorgeous!!! Who knew you could do the drawer pulls from a dowel?!! I also think I’m looking at chop sticks in a whole new way!!! I Love the chiseling too!! 20:52 Thank you so much!!! ❤️💫❤️
It's no wonder you're so perfect at woodworking! I tried and tried and tried to get a whole board sanded perfectly smooth by tapping it with my finger, and it didn't work. I asked my grandpa about it, and he just gave me a weird look, so I didn't ask about any of the other magical things you can dol.
I've always been a fan of channels like this, meaning people that take something old or broken (or both) and try to restore. Something I love about you is that you save more of the material from your projects if it is in decent shape. It's smart from a financial standpoint. Also, you use it to help with your work.
To be able to envision an idea of what you want it to look like amazes me. Very handsome piece. Right down to the castor wheels and homemade handles. 👍🏼❤️
That turned out so well !!! I love the contrasting drawer pulls, the casters and the side shelves. I've said it before and I will say it again, you are a true artist of furniture repair and refinishing. Your mind is so outside of the box, it's amazing. Great job 🤓
Love your work MM. I have a stressful job, so instead of going outside in cold Toronto for a cigarette like my co-workers, I put your videos and I calm right down. ;) Thanks for posting.
Décidément ton travail m'étonne toujours ! Tu débordes de créativité et d'ingéniosité dans tout ce que tu fais, c'est admirable ! J'adore vraiment ton travail !
I love to watch you create. I couldn't figure out how this one would work but I had great faith in your skills. Lovely repurposing and thanks for the link and your support of St. Jude ♥
Well done! Another phenomenal makeover...your channel never disappoints...love the creativity and skills in everything you do. Every new video is a treat to savor. ❤
I love how you keep all the pieces & materials. 😊♡ And yes, mayonnaise is an instrument! 😅 Oh my goodness, how *perfect* this piece of furniture is!! ☆
Me too, I love watching his work because he saves vintage materials (even old rusty screws and nails) and wood pieces and uses them for other projects. Great lessons for the environments
your work amazes me. i saw a piece of furniture that my patience level told me to use as firewood. here again you create another beautiful piece of furniture. thank you for what you do. it encourages me to want to get out of my amateur comfort zone and try something. looking forward to your next video. have a fantastic day.
"The drawer bottom is out of its slot and the existing solution is not ideal" *pans to an array of wildly placed screws and nails* Gotta say, the main attraction is clearly the restoration and wood working but the way theyre shown through the editing is just great and cohesive. Everything is clear and just pleasant to watch with sprinkles of little goofs and gaffs here and there
You are such an elegant furniture artist. Did it take a long time to equip and organize your workshop? I’ve never seen such a complement of tools in one place. Your family must be so proud!
I love the attention to detail, the filming and the final results. When there is so much “fast fashion” out there and furniture that is treated as disposable, it is so wonderful to see someone like you who takes old furniture and gives it a new life….a long life!
One of the classiest restorations in a while. Excellent video, love the no music approach, the pace of change, attention to detail and skill. But most importantly your choice of treatment to the wood at the end. Blonde timber looks so nice but unfortunately too often the stain or treatment adopted ruins the whole piece. You’re very gifted and this was an outstanding presentation from the start.
Beautiful result. Love the way you were able to make the drop leaf balance at a perfect 90 degrees. Thanks for this video; it's been awhile and I needed a fix. 🤩
I so enjoy your work. Your work ethic ranks right up there with Eric Grankvist and Bjorn Breton. Both young men are so very talented. Your talent, although different from them, is amazing. I follow all 3 of you on RU-vid. More young people need to watch your videos to learn how to work.
You truly are an artist! I was wondering: when you find/buy a piece of forniture, do you plan ahead what to do with it or do you improvise once you start working on it?
@@ModernMakeovers I guess it is always like that when we create something. But in the end, the best results come when nothing goes according to plan ;-)
it is always such a pleasure to watch your videos. It's not just your artistry with furniture design and woodworking skills, it's also your attention to the details of visual enhancements. In today's video, for example, I saw the house and wondered what happened to the video. Then you mixed up the bondo on it. So, when I saw the van, I thought I wouldn't be fooled, but it was a real van. There must be a lot of magician in your veins! You're the best!
