There ARE nice people in this world and Troye is one. This was freaking sad . My prayers to everyone who's suffering. I feel so sad rn.

I just watched this again, and knowing that both of the main girls in this video are now gone, I couldn't help but cry.

I remember when me and kellie (my best friend) watched this and cried together, me and her LOVED this song, she also had cancer (terminal). And I remember it was 4 am and my mom woke me up. There was something wrong with kellie. So i visited her at the hospital and when i got there she was fine, then i had to go back to the waiting room (i dont know why). And i put my music on shuffle and the fault in out stars by troye came on, it finished and i took off my earphones and i saw kellies mom screaming, i ran and she told me kellie died, I saw kellie laying down on the gurnee, dead. This song will forever mean a lot to me. Everytime i hear this i cry.

i thought i already had a lyrical connection with troye. i was wrong. it's 2am, im sobbing my eyes out because of this. i lost my dad 3 years ago to cancer but it still hurts up to this day and will still continue to in the years i still yet have to experience and it kills me inside that i will have to wake up everyday for the rest of my life without him. it was just my 18th birthday yesterday, im celebrating this weekend and i just decided that i will sing this dedicated to him. thank you, troye... for everything.

Even the sickest kids are happy... It makes me disgusted how healthy children 'hate their life' just because they don't get what they want.. These kids want to live.. And still smile, because they appreciate life.. the selfish 'healthy' kids don't.

I sang this at my Mom's funeral 2 year ago now. It feels like it was yesterday. My mom struggled with addiction issues for years before finally succumbing to a heart disease at the age of 40. Way too soon. I got to meet my mom at the age of 18, and I only had 5 years. I sang this song and it let out all the feelings and allowed me to stay strong and be there for my family who needed me during this time. Troye, thank you for your voice and your talent that allowed me to overcome the worst tragedy of my life.

It's like the universe wanted me to hear this song.. ^^ Today I had a moment of grief that I didn't want to feel and pushed away for two weeks (or more..). It's because of my cousin who lost her battle against cancer two years ago. It's funny how everything plays together. In school, we are talking about death and how we can help children and teens through that time of loss (apprenticeship as nurses/childcareworkers). We were given the task to choose from several picture books for children or a book for teens, and I chose teens. One of the books of choice was The False In Our Stars, I read it, I watched the movie. So beautiful. And now this song. Yeah. I hoped this comment isn't confusing. It's almost 1 o'clock in the night here in Germany. There may or may not be found some grammar or typing mistakes.. :D I just wanted to share my story and say thank you! Sending much love to anyone fighting this battle and their families and friends. Ungrateful people will see the girls in this vid and say their so lucky and they wish they were them. These poor girls were born with cancer and every day that they either live or lived is or was a blessing. I cry everytime I see this vid, because each of these girls are beautiful and because of how close to home this is. I almost lost my aunt to breast cancer, but she kept fighting and got throught it. One of my best friends got cancer, and as of last wednesday she is cured. Although her battle is not over, no ones battles are ever over. We just need to keep a positive mind set. Troyes music helps me get through a lot, and his vids make me laugh. Out of all of the people in the world, he is one of my biggest influences! I love him so much and I find him so inspiering. And Iknow know that no matter where i go in life, I will always have Troye. R.I.P. Kimmy and Montana

The one that made videos every week and that was stoked when he had his first music video. the one who wore onesies and almost every video. we get it you're famous but we also miss troyesivan18 the RU-vidr not the celebrity. Well this made me sad. Anything that involves cancer upsets me because I lost my mom to cancer and I know how much my mom suffered and so I can't imagine how awful it is for children who suffer it. Children should be out playing and growing up, not dying in a hospital ward. I pray that I get to grow up and see the day where there is no more cancer, in both children and adults.
