Nice instruction Vlad. Man, I have been tying close to 50 years, and picked up a few good tips. That’s what keeps fly tying so fun, always learning. Thanks and happy hatches.

Thank you so much. I could not agree more. I love tying for the same reason, always something new to learn. Plus, catching fish on my own creations is great. And its cheaper....kidding ... Its not, but who cares 😀

Hi Vlad, I know you like illustrations (totally agree). Encourage you to pick up Oliver Edwards Fly Tyers Masterclass if not aware. Interesting patterns and great illustrations. Good drifts and hatches!@@Oholisfliesandfishing

I have finished reading the book. Not only are the drawings and instructions fantastic quality, yet make it easy to follow. The quality of the writing makes reading enjoyable. I am sure that I will reference and reread sections of the book again, just like I have done with his first book. Thank you for turning us on to Gordon's books and for your instructive videos. Even after years of fly tying, it's inspirational to learn tying tips from the pros.

Glad you enjoyed both books. I am big fan of paper. I know that i do videos, but personally i would choose books over videos in most cases.

Thanks for another master class! I bought Gordon's superb first book with wonderful illustrations and copied some of his flies and I look forward to buying Volume 2 when available down under in NZ. Your attention to detail and explanations are always excellent and very much appreciated.

@@thetroutconjurer i am really honored and happy to have you visit here. Hope you are enjoying the content. And glad you liked the video. I must say your chapter was one of the most interesting for me. Its very thoughtful. From a fisherman perspective. PS: i watched your video of reinforcement of the starling feathers.... Superb technique. I did similar with gsp, just not with tag end but with main thread. Should add, clockwise twist is what people should be aiming for . 🍻

Dobre rano Vladimir. Very good job taking some older, wiser black and white instructions and bringing them into a modern, colorful video format. I’m switching from saltwater flats mode back to freshwater stream mode again and watching you tie helps me with the transition. Great stuff as always.

Thank you. Glad i am helping with the transition 😀🍻. This fly is so much fun to tie. I dont remember a fly that i was tying for days just for fun.

I heard about this book some time ago and everyone spoke highly of it, so I looked for it and found it difficult to buy. Especially since I'm in mainland China now, which makes it even harder for me to buy.

I Gota start writing such of my own perspective,my own reasonig, the logic I have come to over the past 30 years of tying but more importantly fishing, problem is it all comes clearly to me when I'm stoned after smoking a joint then sitting down and getting to work on the vise😊

🤣🤣🤣 i never enjoyed weed. Tried few times but i couldnt handle it in a nice way... That was all i experienced. But lot of my friends would share same experience as you. I do enjoy glass of brandy or vine.

Very nicely tied. Always clean the eye bottom to top of course to avoid glue on the hackle. The attention with the detail on the peacock herl is invaluable makes the difference the same with the tippets and getting the Colour on the outside edge. Great instruction and tying thank you

@@Oholisfliesandfishing I’ll treat myself for Easter I think. Busy on 100 Klinkhammers in #18 to #12 tied in batches. Once I’m done I’ll tie some more wet flies. Would be great to see you tie some Irish flies if the mood ever takes you.

@@Oholisfliesandfishing One range of Irish flies that you might like to look at are Kingsmill Moore's range of 'Bumbles' for wild brown and sea trout, which are explained in his classic book 'A man may fish'...also, these videos show typical tyings ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WSyKIYTQyBc.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l16rPhIgX0U.html If fine wire dry fly hooks are used, I find Bumbles dance beautifully as top dropper wet flies on lakes or light touch dry flies on rippling river water.

Also bro I know how important the materials are ,feather hair, dubbing ,CDC,quills ,etc..but I also believe the hook, the style ,is very very important also, anywhoo when you coming over to the Usa to fish with us brother ? Maybe we start a Go Funde For your trip ?😊

I wish i could come to US. Its not only about funding. Its more about family i need to take care of. I hope i would come some day. There are some places on my bucket list.... Montana and Yellowstone for starter s...plus Alaska.

Note: The background color makes it difficult to see you wrapping the peacock. Maybe all the materials would contrast better with a light blue background?
