Nice video. According the spec this unit covers HF up to 71 MHz (i.e the 4 meter band), but some reviewers claim only goes up to 69 MHz. What is your experience?
@@2j4ez Thanks for your answer. Yes, I was afraid of that. Just like you, I'm interested in the 4 meter band. So now I'm looking in to some alternatives to the AW07A, such as the RigExpert AA-170 or AA-230 Zoom. Also looking in to the N2061SA covering 1.1MHz~1300MHz. But these are all twice the price of the AW07A. RigExpert is a very good analyser. I bought an AA-30 a couple of years ago thinking I would never go higher than HF / 30 MHz. Regret today that I didn't go for the AA-170 back then! :)
Its good piece of kit. Will come in very useful when I'm building my own antennas. The only thing it doesn't do is 4M (70mhz) which is a shame as ive got a dipole to test out
@@Perthshire 73 - best regards. 73s - best regardses. It's a minor thing but you end up coming across like Golum from lord of the rings. Seems to be a common issue with RU-vid vids, I think people have picked it up not from genuine radio use but from watching RU-vid videos and it's increasingly misused.
