Is there any Bible teacher left in the world as brilliant as this man was? God has blessed us by leaving Mr. Misslers teaching available to us.

This is why I have such a firm foundation in my faith. Chuck Missler needs to be shared with every child as they grow. His great love of Jesus the Word and His Creation made him one of the greatest teachers and thinkers of all time. Well done good and faithful servant.

I am a Messianic believer & I was in a Messianic fellowship & the pastor knew Chuck Missler. He said that in the last years of his life that Chuck would call him & talk about things on a 'Messianic perspective' in scripture with him!!! Chuck Missler was very interested in the Messianic/Hebraic aspects of scripture!!!

The Fibonacci sequence is such a beautiful testimony of God. I think that the next time I meet someone who argues against design, I will bring this up. At least it will give them something to ponder.

Hmm. Missler has a background in physics, I believe, and probably does have an understanding of science that most commenters don't. The book Just 6 Numbers demonstrates how specific our universe and its laws are and should be looked at with this consideration. Fibonacci sequence demonstrates an order that isn't likely to evolve out of chaos w/o some sort of catalyst. btw, crystals, splash patterns and even snowflakes result from events following laws of physics. cause/effect.

More pastors ought to get their training from STEM fields instead of seminary. As a physician, professor of biochemistry and medicine, I find things in the Bible that blow my mind and which pastors are completely unaware of. Dr Missler is a gift to the Church which most pastors ignore because he isn't seminary trained.

No, you don't stop looking, but you are able to take a moment and revel in the awesomeness of our Creator. Mathematics certainly is beautiful and I've always known that the Creator is the Master of science and the laws therein. I'd bet Missler does indeed seek the 'deepest understanding of the Fibonacci Sequence, and realizes that only Omnipotence could achieve such perfection of design. It's really ok to accept that our understanding is infantile and closer to the truth.

Fibonacci ratios are pervasive on financial charts. These charts are very good records of human beings interacting/herding with one another.

The Fibonacci sequence is certainly a testament to the Creator, and this discussion explains that well. In proving all things, however, I question the alleged "orbits" of "planets" (referenced around 9 or 10 minutes into video.) We don't find the term "planet" anywhere in Scripture; we find the term "wandering stars." The term "solar system" suggests heliocentrism, which defies what I've learned about cosmology in Scripture.

The supreme function of reason is to show man that some things are beyond reason - Blaise Pascal . Chuck Missler himself stresses that the numerical phenomena in creation and in the writing of scripture is not sufficient to ''prove'' that God exists to the human heart. We can only believe by faith - and eventually hell will be people only by believers! For once in that place all will have no option but to believe that God exists, and their intransigence was not based upon faith but 'human' reason. We enter heaven by 'faith'.

In regards to the sea life being colorful below 90 feet, I suggest is because the oceans weren’t always at the same depth throughout the history of our planet.

1) In saying "Design implies absence of randomness" he is simply speaking of things we would consider designed. In this case, design cannot be random. 2) "..one can easily design a process that will produce random results. Lottery does this. Casinos do that." a)So you have random results, caused by a designed process? Then it allows for randomness. Controlled chaos. OK. b) In a designed process where all variables are controlled, the results are never random. The lottery is a bad example.

since I was a child and could compare, "Let their be light" and "the big bang" to have no difference to me, I have always looked for and laughed as science slowly slogged through its own dogma to see the beauty of Gods creation. Slowly but surely they are getting their. but please guard your self with the shield of faith in the word of God. For what will come first will not be truth and goodness nor will it be Christ himself. I do not debate placement of rapture for if you are ready it truly maters naught and if you are not ready the same holds true. If you have not yet come to the lord I must ask what are you waiting for? there could be no greater evidence needed fore a creator in these last 18-20 years and if there is a creator then it only makes since to take the Bibles word as golden and beg forgiveness of your sins. For those still waiting for that come to God moment I pray that it happens for you very very soon.

Personally, I think that many, many people have mistakenly thought that science had indeed proven that there wasn’t a God, but with the development of science over the past few years, especially quantum physics, I really believe that science will in the next few years actually bring the debate full circle and prove that there is indeed a God. Are the spirals seen in nature based on the golden ratio? Some are, but most are not. The spirals most commonly seen in nature are equi-angular (aka logarithmic) spirals. This simply means that the spiral expands at a constant rate. This occurs because it creates an even flow of energy or distribution of tension. This has nothing at all to do with the golden ratio. Accordingly, all the illustrations of spiral arms of galaxies, curves of ocean waves, spiraling hurricanes, etc. that are incorrectly identified as a “Golden Ratio” or “Golden Spiral” should be relabeled or removed to avoid further confusion in perpetuating this golden ratio myth. There is another type of spiral that is related to the golden ratio, however, that occurs very commonly in nature. The spirals that appear in pine cones, pineapples, seed pods and similar plant structures are usually based on two successive numbers of the Fibonacci sequence. For example, if there are eight spirals in a clockwise direction, you will find thirteen spirals going in the counter-clockwise direction. The Fibonacci-sequence is the simplest pattern which builds latter quantities to the measure of earlier quantities, which means if randomness were to evolve into order the Fibonacci-sequence would be the most likely pattern of order to arise. Therefor, Fibonacci-sequence cannot be cited as evidence against evolutionism because their model coheres better with the observation of Fibonacci-sequences in nature than it does without that observation. I think one of the main reasons God applied the Fibonacci-sequence is because God knew the fall would occur and thereafter would be genetic and phenotypic degradation, and because the Fibonacci-sequence can be better stabilized by self relative data points it's the most streamlined and stabile pattern system amidst random degradation, so it is the best pattern to keep lifeforms more stabile for a longer time. Chuck seems to be assuming a dead argument here, and when Christians go out and parrot dead arguments it does not help to indicate that we have the Truth. Some of my friends recommended Missler, so I am going in and testing him and the spirits which he promotes, because I am concerned this is more motivated by self-indulgent fascination than it is by honest submission to Truth. This video shows a lack of critical assessment skills, which bodes poorly considering the topics which Chuck is considered to be insightful on.
