The movie turns 25 today! Bruce Willis, Chris Tucker, Gary Oldman, and the late Luke Perry I didn't know Milla Jovovich was in this at the time The film is a very good example of original science-fiction, haven't had that since 'Star Wars' Colorful, musical, and filled with humor Very self aware and each frame is visually stunning This accurately predicted a lot of our future with voice commands, live streaming, 3D printers, digital passports replacing physical ones, and self cleaning machines Stinks the hero and villain never share any screen time, the plot hinges on a colossal coincidence, loads of plot threads go absolutely nowhere and the main character spends a long 10 minutes having a cry while watching an alien opera singer But director Luc Besson makes a very incredible vision with advanced technology, flying vehicles, crazy costumes Even robot bartenders are possible mainly due to covid with people not risking their health in public places and having drinks delivered to them
People had so much expectations, so much hope from the future. And it turned out to be what? Pandemic followed by WW3 and we don't know what's else is to come.
Water shortages, extreme weather (heatwaves, storms affecting crops, causing floodings) as the scientist have been warning us for quite some time 👀 But even in this uncertain age, we can just do what we can - love our friends, family, try to be kind in this world...
@@Iveta709more likely yo be more man made disasters. More wat, economic crashes, resource shortages/ supply limitations, work shortage due to AI advancements. Either way you look at it, it's not good.
What actually ended up happening is massive infrastructure projects and transportation technology became secondary to information technology and cgi graphics, instead of making the real world impressive, we chose to construct impressive virtual worlds and live inside of them while the real world is sort of stagnant
This just popped up as an ad before a video I was watching. I stuck with it out of curiosity and...it’s just a weird trailer for this 23 year old movie. Great movie but...why?
Have you seen the fifth element with Bruce Willis Chris Tucker I think it was 1997. If you know you know might want to check that one out again If you don’t look tht movie up look for tuckers role n sumone reply to me 😅
It's done through a mix of demographic information and search history. In this case it would be men of a certain age. Pre-2010 Science fiction has a very specific demographic.
This looks phenomenal, this looks like i remember it looking like. I can’t find a copy that looks conematic like this, it’s all this denoised HD bullshit that looks weird and cheap. Any clue where can i find this version?
haha, quit ironic, the supreme being .Who is more supreme? The one telling others "tell me you love me" or the one actually telling it out of free will ? Is it supreme intelligence to have children from the very first guy that tells you he loves you and means it ? Women will always be women.
@@meggers1771 if someome isn't saying something nice they shouldn't say it at all iykwim like if it was constructive criticism that would be good but saying that the movie was just stupidity was just unnecessary icl
