In that case may b the management team will not be the priests. Here the point is all the wealth should not be go to secular hands unlike others .all money of other communities managed by them to upliftment solely of their community through education ,or health may be free and preaching like activities which results in mass conversion but hindu wealth is another form of govt revenue . He says this should not happen . Temple money is for their community only .It should invested in bringing back gurukuls for example where u will be connected to ur roots ,hospitals retrieve back ayurved everything which is almost dead if not not temple money then who will spend for all this if you are incapable then atleast learn from others to use ur money for ur community development . Otherwise hindus will be in history books then will be erased from memory. Im from odisha and know the temple condition

I am kattar Hindu but I don't support the the idea of government not managing the temples. My personal experiences with the priests in Jagannath temple have been bad. I visit the temple twice or thrice each year since my child hood with my family. The priests will try to loot you and when they sense that you are a local and you know their tactics they will behave badly with you even infront of Policemen as police won't say them anything inside the temple. But, they will behave very politely to the rich or influential people. Same with other big temples in Odisha too. And the situation for common devotee will worsen once the management goes to the priests.

You can take up the job of pujari in a temple......

Reason why Hindu temples should freed: 1. The donations should be used for Hindu community, Hindu educational institutes, Hindu food donations, Hindu orphanages, but the money is being used for public service such as building public infrastructure, temples are being neglected and not being maintained or temple cleaning is not being done because they are working as government job where no one is interest because there is no interest or discipline because we know there is no accountability in government job because he gets a fixed salary. 2. Hinduism as a religion itself is in government control because we don't have such thing as dalit caste in our religion so people of SC and ST should be assimilated into one of the four varnas as per the current job they are doing. They should be given new surnames. 3. We should reform our region in such a way that there is no discrimination based on caste. 4. Reservation paradox: Once people know that you have reservation people will know that you are lower caste people. You are basically creating a division and then you are fighting for equality. At least it should be given voluntarily when they become educated and economically sound so that the cycle of discrimination stops.
