This feels like Callen having all his kids home from the college for holidays. He thinks they come home to see him, but they just come home to roast him
The boys… these were good times, tuning in on our way to go hunt Elk tfatk was always first pick.. and your right they do look aged.. but then again look what’s happened, both chris and bryan got me2 and brendan people just started hatin him for gettin gigs in comedy for who he knew and puttin out lazy specials.. at one time this was my favorite podcast. Fuck
@@CoachRiku The guy in the black tshirt got busted being a pedo on snapchat. This is the moment he realized that snapchats could be saved, and that he could be exposed as a pedo soon.
Bryan really glues this group together. The way he set the tone right at the start led to Chris being on fire and he just set Chris up for the full show
You can really feel the friendly rivalry Theo and Chris have, it’s tense and I’m pretty sure Bryan senses it as well, more than once he redirected attention to himself, wisdom comes with old age, ancient almost.
Yeah there were still some funny moments but I just find Theo’s style to not jive well with other comedians.. it’s abit too focussed around his own joke rather than building a bit with others. It can work if people go along with him, but if they don’t it’s awkward I reckon
@@liammorgans7329 you nailed it friend. I suppose you have watched the Theo von/Bill Burr podcast, and whilst Bill Burr tends to be like that in other shows, his comedy was noticeable there too.
This is still one of the funniest podcasts on the entire internet. I remember watching this when it first came out, when i watch it it makes me feel like shit might be alright, this was cool
Jimmy is an old fashioned nick name for the name James for those who aren’t aware ..Theo is so quick witted that he says things that sound dumb because you don’t have time to think about it
It's laughable that there are so many who are quick to rip on Brendan for not being as funny as the others, when all those people know deep down that their idols (Chris, Bryan, etc.) would call out the critics and stand up for Brendan if they saw/heard the comments made. The critics would be put in their place (hopefully), but right now they're too dense to realize that Brendan has been doing comedy for such a short period of time, whereas the others (Chris, Bryan, etc.) are considered experts in their field - how many people could roll with them as Brendan does? You could argue that "it's just a meme, man" - and some of it might be - but I've got to believe that making a meme out of someone's profession/livelihood is done with malicious intent. Unfortunate.
@Cecil Gibson I get that there are comedians who would love to be in Brendan's shoes when it comes to playing big clubs, the podcast, etc., but everybody starts somewhere, and it just so happens that Brendan's dedication to fighting and football brought him in touch with people (joe, callen, etc.) that like him, and want to see him succeed - so they gave him the opportunity. Opportunity is everything. Is it wrong that Brendan took the opportunity? He shouldn't be chastised for furthering himself. I agree that he uses the same style of comedy as Chris, Theo, etc., but that's how most start out (and that's not my opinion; I heard Joe say it on the podcast).
i never seen shaubs attempt at stand up but i doubt it would be anything special, rogan give him a peg up i bet too, to me he takes himself too serious to be even remotely funny
@@rs-ly2qo There was obviously an awkward conflict between Theo and Delia, I just wish they didn't cut it, the social interactions are the best part for me
Sorry but i've seen him perform, and his stand up was mediocre. His quirks and mannerisms were funny, but the jokes were weak..... But on a podcast he has me dying laughing
Keefe Brown the dude above you is so emotional lol, I’m saying I think he’s a funny dude but for some reason his stand up just isn’t good, like you said it’s just the material. I’m a huge fan tho, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him not be the funniest guy in the room.
So sad, used to be a good podcast.... Brendan is just to much of a narcissistic dude who doesn’t have a funny bone in his body. Brian and D’Elia need their own podcast
Tommy Mc hahaha this podcast is bad now? Your head being up your ass all the time has you confused, this podcast is great and get out of that basement!🤔
@@CJ-gy8ie when Bryan interrupts Chris. I think he's saying it to Bryan as a elementary school type thing. He talked out of turn so he's in timeout, lunch is over
He was so bad at "security" his friends literally held an intervention and forced him to become the worlds worst comedian instead. Brendans only talent is aesthetically placing sneakers on tables.
Theo and Brendan are the only consistently funny guys IMO. While Bryan means well he is little more than a Zionist shill. Chis was decent on this podcast, but overall his comedy is simple and egotistic. 1:04:37 "no you don't" Theo was trying to deliver a message over and over. 1:05:55 states so
At 1:03:40 when Theo says he will cut the ribs out of Chris's body, there was an edit... Man I wish I knew what was said afterwards... You could feel the tension between them as soon as Theo walked in 🤔🤔🤔
@@colin8477 the “proof” was the equivalent of cutting up a clip to take it out of context. in its full context, no court in the land would take this case seriously. that’s why nothing’s happened since.
@@Akkarsollum Nah. Their comedy doesn't vibe well off of eachother probably because they're two alphas. When Chris went on Theo's podcast he had to just tone himself down.
zillionx nah. The theogate thing was just a goof. Theo legit does have issues with chris. It’s gotten worse and worse. He definitely got offended when chris did his impression of him. Theo’s sensitive about when people make fun of white southern people. Especially if he feels like they’re trying to make it seem as if they are stupid or lesser than. Chris knows there is something there too which is why he made such a big deal about the turning his back to him thing. If they actually were totally cool he would of made a joke about it. But he knows he can’t do that with Theo cus him and Theo aren’t friends like that and Theo takes stuff too seriously. Which comes from a place of insecurity. Theo is pretty open about his battles with insecurity and having a clear idea of who he is as a man.
This was a great moment in time that could never be recreated. Bryan’s burnt out, Delia is an emotional mess, B is a sad alcoholic. And it seems like everyone post COVID is obsessed with politics. I’m just happy we got to see this
@@thekeystone7963 I think just going thru his accusations, having to leave tfatk and start a paywall show with Tripoli, etc. by the time he came back his energy was never the same. Felt the same about Delia when he came back he was never the same easy going, silly dude. He was so much more serious and anything somewhat emotional will throw him into a crying fit.
If Chris Delia and Bryan Callen did a podcast together I believe it would skyrocket to #1 in the world. The two of them together is honestly my favorite form of entertainment
Callen is so overrated and copies so much like how he words himself. And how he pronounced certain words. I just don’t think he’s that funny. And I don’t know how anyone finds Schaub funny at all. Delia is the best of these four and I just think Theo is comical without trying. As a person he’s funny.
@Beline Dawska oh damn I didn’t realize I was speaking to the person who decides what is funny. It’s funny the people who talk crap have fake profiles to troll.
@Beline Dawska exactly an opinion just like mine, and you acted as if I’m not allowed to have my opinion. Theo is funny, maybe the lil soyboys you hang with don’t find it funny but the men I hang around think Theo is funny
@@wrizzy9393I agree with your original comment bro. Don’t listen to that dumb f**k. They are definitely in my top 5 comedians at the moment. And someone else said if they made a podcast together, they’d be number 1. And I think I agree with that also. If not number 1, then definitely top 3. But I agree with you. Screw that guy you were having that argument with. He wouldn’t know comedy if it smacked him upside his empty head.
hahahahha i got drunk, downloaded it, fell asleep to it when it came out and ignored it cuz i thought i really listened to it already. but i walked home and put it on and i don't remember it and was cackling home from work to "all-new" comedy
