Martial arts been in the NFL since the 90s. Stated with the Cowboys, O-Line and D-Line learned hand combat from Inosanto Academy.

Brandon Scherff was taken in the Top 5 to play guard in 2015. Leonard Davis was too, but only because they initially played him at tackle before moving him to guard. Robert Gallery was the same way.

Can't wait to see Q in the RPO plays. He'll get to the 2nd level with ease and really open interior lanes for whomever is running the ball. Nice pick, Ballard.

Looking back at this coming into the 2021-2022 season Nelson has gotten much better since college and has improved his weaknesses from college and now it’s his strong suit. A video idea idk if you’ll do it but you can compare Nelson’s film from the nfl vs college to see how he’s progressed. Just an idea

Another point: Though I could be wrong (since I am an old man with fading memories), I recall Leonard Davis played LT at Texas. I know the Cowboys converted him to OG, but I don't think he was necessarily drafted as an OG. So Nelson may be trodding a wholly new path in a while if he goes top 5 or top 3.
