Congratulations! You took down prime Radahn without losing your mind. I have really enjoyed watching your journey through Elden Ring and I hope you eventually find your way to Dark Souls 3. There are some bosses there I would love to see you take on.

Congratulations Mike! You've done it, you've made it to the end of your first Souls game in Elden Ring. You even got to experience the DLC with the rest of the community so you've been seeing in real time everything with this DLC as it's unfolded. Watching your playthrough has honestly been an absolute treat for me. Ever since I found the channel seeing these episodes drop would always absolutely make my day a little bit better, and I believe it'll be that way with Bloodborne and the other Souls titles if you plan on doing the others as well. It's been an absolute blast bruh. Now that we're at the end I just wanna ask; what was your favorite moments in all of Elden Ring for both the base game and the DLC? What was your favorite bosses and lore bits for both the base game and DLC? Favorite weapons, Talismans, and Armor sets? What ended up being your favorite locations and did you ever have a moment or moments that blew your mind? I'll answer the questions I asked you with my own opinions so we can discuss it for fun. My favorite moments in all of Elden Ring as well as my mind blowing moments for the base game was when I first got to Altus Plateau, because Altus for me was what Siofra River Well is for the community. Seeing it for the first time absolutely blew my mind from the golden sky and grass to the Erdtree that loomed. As for the DLC it was when I first got to the Hinterlands and beat the Tree Sentinels there, because that made me realize I had come full circle as a player. Elden Ring was my first Souls game too. I played it back at launch over 2 years ago, and like you're about to I went off and played the other Souls games with the exception of Sekiro. This Souls series has went on to become some of my favorite games ever and I still replay many of them to this day. Going on that journey really helped me go from a hopeless noob to honestly what I believe to be a pretty good player. When they announced Shadow of the Erdtree I came back to Elden Ring and I was really nervous at first tbh, but after coming back I feel at home in Elden Ring. It's probably the Souls game I feel the most comfortable playing. I mention all of this because beating those 2 tree sentinels felt huge for me. For years I was terrified of them, because for me back when I first played I was not good at all and had a trash build. The Tree Sentinel was a bully and a major skill check for me. Flash forward to the DLC I floored 2 Tree Sentinels in a minute tops only needing 1 flask. It felt so incredible, it was a surreal moment for me. Also the Civil War with the NPC's is another of my favorite moments in this DLC, depending on whose questlines you do, complete or fail determines how easy or how hard that battle royal is. If you complete Thollier's quest he will also join you as an ally against Leda as well as an option to fight Radahn. Worst case scenario you can fight: Moore, Hornsent, Freiya, Ansbach, Dane, and Leda alone. Most people do Ansbachs quest so typically you have him as an ally. Be glad you didn't have Moore in your Civial War, he throws large Rot pots that instantly Scarlet Rot you and his poise is ABSURD. Bosses wise in the base game Mohg, and Malenia are very important to me all the others get floored. I explained in the past how special Mohg and Malenia are to me. As for the DLC I gotta give it to Messmer, Bayle, and Metyr as my favorites. Midra as well as an honorable shoutout solely because his fight is super fun and his design goes hard as does his music. Bayles phase 2 transition ALWAYS to this day gives me chills it's EASILY one of my favorite moments in all of Souls. Plus as a Yugioh 5D's player my favorite monster is Red Dragon Archfiend, so if you know anything about that monster you'll know why I adore Bayle so much. Messmer is extremely important to me though, when I first played through Shadow of the Erdtree I was struggling to have fun. Not because of difficulty or any fault of the games, but I compared myself to others and saw their success and felt like a failure. With Messmer I managed to let go of that and just have fun. So I love Messmer not only because he's a masterpiece but his fight helped me have fun again. So much so I'm playing the DLC for a 4th time in NG+ on my Strength build lol, Dex builds going to NG+ next. My love for Metyr is layered. The entire Manus Metyr questline is my favorite of the DLC's lore and is my favorite questline aside from Ansbachs questline. I also love her horror design and she definitely adds a deep layer to Elden Rings lore. She also HEAVILY reminds me of late game Bloodborne bosses. Her ost is interesting too because her 2nd phase uses the sounds of an irl Black Hole which is cool considering there's one at the end of her tail. As for weapons Backhand Blades, Bloodfiends Arm, Wing of Astel, and the Coded Sword are all my go to's. Fist weapons, claws, curved swords, and straight swords are all also generally pretty fun too. Moore's armor set, Hoslow set, Beast Champion set, Death Knight set, and the Oathseeker set are my fav armors. Multi hit talismans, Dragoncrest Greatshield and the Crimson Seed +1 talismans are also my GOATS. For locations: Leyndell, Mohgwyn, and Shadow Keep are my GOATS. Hinterlands is also high up there for me too. Shaman village is just so beautiful. Anywho to wrap up this absurdly long comment. Good job beating the game, and I'm excited to see you play Bloodborne. some cool lore you might of missed- miquella planned of us(or somebody) to defeat mohg as without his death he couldnt of brought back radahn, essentially its rahdan in mohgs body, hence some of the blood flame he can use.
