This non void has the spell to gather litters on the ground. That's actually an amazing skill as a monk, so you don't need to slave little monks to do chores.

By the end, monke gets so much mana that non able really isnt an issue. I have 400 mana with maxed out nonable equipped.

Not-Wukong felt a little bit tougher than his master in a sense, the void stance really keeping you off his tail. As always, it was nice to see Guangzhi carry Wukong through, but hope to see the Yin Tiger in the next chapters. Your style of wait-and-see, letting the enemy come at you is quite useful with the Tiger defensive style. Yellow Brow still conjured up a ton of spells in the last fight. Wrong timing or did I misunderstand the spellbinder effect?

I don't think the collar tugging was Yellow Brow literally used magic to hypnotize the villager, I mean what kind of lame magic that have to be physical like that? But in the end I guess it doesn't matter, since Yellow Brow did use his magic to enchant him, but in a more subtle way.

But then the guy came armed. The desire to cut the turtle open and turn him into a bunch of gold was already festering in his heart. A small tug was literally all it took to get him to do it.

@@jellydamgood the knife was for gutting fishes because it was a fishing village. And if it were his intention from the start, the tug would be meaningless, he would do it anyway. The tug is just an artistic interpretation of the animation to let the players know that Yellow Brow manipulated the villagers into greed. He showed them in luxuries but never teach them how to handle it, it's like dangling beef steaks in front of a hungry dog.

@@duegia44 right, but why would anyone bring a fish gutting knife to a festival/ritual where they are about to get gold and riches? Besides, the frenzied rush to butcher yellowbrow right after is just further proof of the greed in the villagers' hearts bubbling to the surface. Not even the guards or officials or monks stopped the butchery.

@@jellydamgood these poor villagers are most likely have no education, it would make no sense to expect them to be better. Hell, even the guards and the monks joined in the looting. It would take great discipline and effort to resist agaisnt that kind of temptation. Yellow Brow knew this beforehand and purposefully chose this situation. That is why Jin Chanzi criticised his method.

I think this chapter's story is rather oppressive and depressing. The perversion of Buddhist ideals feels too overt and unsophisticated compare to the earlier chapters. It doesn't make a lot of sense that Yellow Brow became a heretic and fell into apostasy *for the second time* like he already did in the original Journey to the West...
