The amount of anxiety thati have since 7 years old by being told "its right around the corner" and then "its turning the corner" "it's at the corner" and always scared to death that it would happen in the middle of doing something "bad" or "wrong" in jw rules. The threats of being destroyed for not being perfect or trying to be perfect ruined me!!
The same used to happen to me too. While a JW I asked a question one of my elder's body like: Will the last test during 1000 rule be able to take away someone who successfully passed the great tribulation as a righteous of our time? Amazingly the answer was YES !! WHAT !!! Again I asked him" what is the justice of being tested twice if the new world is to judge those who died unrighteous before the spread of good news ? " This answer has always struck me all the years I spent in the so called the truth. LOL !!!!!! I always had kind of instability in my heart always anxious and asking myself if Jesus comes today I would be saved. I could even pray while on the road because of fear of being destroyed just because I looked around and saw a girl in mini-skirt or simply because I desired something I need that God didn't give to me.

And I don't understand how or why the evil ppl of this "current " world would have a chance to be resurrected into a paradise all because they died in this system. So their horrible evil disgusting sins are forgiven and they are forgiven but the good ppl who do no harm to anyone will be destroyed because they lived until the "end of this system". I just can't wrap my head around that. I kno some ppl who are amazing church going, full believers in what the Bible teaches, do everything in life to imitate Christ, never curse, never are mean, never harm, but they are not JW. There must be some kind of assembly line where they turn these people out. The main requirements must be to be past your prime ( putting it politely). Be able to condescend,treat your audience as ten year olds,make the occasional weak joke,invite applause, say Jehovah at regular intervals,play on their audience insecurities and project a sense of self satisfaction…Above all,be instantly forgettable

God himself told me yesterday that he doesn't understand why does governing body claim they had heard from him because he didn't tell them anything. And he also said that he hadn't inspired Bible or commissioned writing it. And this example of a sick girl donating a money just sickened me. It's so friggin disgusting and what a nerve they have in order to make friends in heaven?
The true God has never communicated with humans. Gabriel and Michael has communicated with the Israelites. And Satan was the overseer of the Garden before he went apostate. When Michael came to earth as Jesus Christ, he talked to humans in setting up his kingdom. But no one from heaven talks to humans today. The comment about the storm clouds resonates with me so much. I remember once it was fall, and the sky was a bright red and I thought it was the beginning of Armageddon (because of all the photos in the bible story book) . I was just a child, but I remember I had an interest in Halloween and I thought I was going to die. The same thing kept happening over snd over, storm clouds, tornadoes, hurricanes. I'd always instinctively think of Armageddon. Even after I've left, it's been years but instinctively seeing or hearing thunder it's what I think about. Thank you for another great video! ♡

I remember getting angry for so long that Tony Morris wasn't removed and now I want him back. 🤣 I also remember every convention people saying it was likely the last one we'd ever have because the end was coming. At first, it freaked me out because the end sounded really scary. I honestly never understood why other JW's were so excited for it. Eventually though, I was like, "whatever" and stopped believing the end was near. You can only be wrong for so long until it's an obvious lie and calling things "new light" didn't fly with me.
My father is an elder, and he has been a witness since the early 1960's, although he had a period where he fell away about the time I left around 25 years ago in my early 20's When I ask about unrealised predictions and the 'keep on the watch/the end is near" rhetoric that is always mentioned he keeps a very open view. ' He always says 'dates are man made ' and God is not governed by finite matters such as time. He always says 'Dates are sticky territory '. He says it doesn't really matter to him if the system continues -as what is important is God has a plan, and Jesus died for us so we should just have faith that whatever Jehovahs plan is for mankind don't worry about when it will be. The same way as its irrelevant if the Turin Shroud is real or not, what matters is Jesus example and death. I said 'ok, fair enough if that's what you feel personally , but what about all the carrots you are dangling for non believers, your offering them an i imminent hope of salvation on the pretense that its close by, but you feel that might not be the case. Isnt that a bit disingenuous.? If you sold someone a holiday that you personally know might not be honoured this year... its really a doctrinal sleight of hand' . What does anyone else think?
Funny thing about those books to help teach reading and writing... they were a front for whole publications. They start with cat, dog, his, her, she, etc. And quickly morph into 5 syllable words and dissertations

@Les Mor sad thing is she isn’t closer to Jehovah at all. Or at least she won’t reap any benefits of a close relationship. That point was driven home to me and my son that vowed all $ he made over the amount he needed to live would be donated. And he did just that. His wife wasn’t too happy. BUT thousands of $ and thousands of prayers and being a self sacrificing elder got him nothing but crickets when he got sick. Guidance to the right diagnosis? Nope. Guidance once he found out it was stage 4 cancer for the right treatments? Nope! It’s a one way conversation. There's an animal park up the road from me that I love to visit . You can buy bags of food pellets to hand feed the animals. I was surprised at how gentle the goats were and how aggressive the sheep were . The sheep would literally nudge into me, quite forcefully, and pull the bag from my pocket. The goats were far more polite . Lol. So his illustration sounds like BS to me. And did you hear how he described the sheep as being shy, fearful and helpless??? Sadly I’ve noticed this sort of anger in the ex jw community. I made a comment on Reddit about the Trinity and got my head ripped off. “How dare you tell us we are wrong about the Trinity, you should be blocked” lol thankfully the moderator was a more open minded person, said just because someone doesn’t think the trinity is real doesn’t mean we block them. I guess maybe it’s just that mindset of I’m right and you’re wrong is hard to let go of.
Anger is a normal human emotion. Who of us ever has perfect control over it at every moment? Some people have more reason to be angry. Some people are more hurt, more wronged, more damaged. Sometimes we need to vent anger in a safe place. I suffered chronic debilitating nerve pain for several years as a JW because I bottled up my frustrations.
Don't tell me. These angry, threatening, "cancelling" exchanges are between alleged Christians? That would be typical. Doesn't that tell you there is something seriously flawed about Christianity?

I’ve recently fallen on hard times financially, and my JW family sent me a list that the governing body approved of, all the aid from other organizations that you can get help from. And I’m sitting there wondering why don’t Jehovah’s Witnesses do that, oh yeah because they want YOUR money, not the other way around 🙄🤦🏻♀️

Why does the small group of anointed keep growing to over 20,000 now? That's a small group? What will they say when it reaches 40,000? We were programmed to shun others! One of the toughest things to overcome is shunning others who are not robotiacally the same thought as we are.
Actions speak louder than words. They are well off and investing in real estate. But their members are struggling , you should feel bad using this illustration about the little girl. Put the members under guilt.
I remember several conventions from childhood in which the speakers highly praised stories of young ones donating money or time to the organization. This tactic isn't necessarily new. I had two grand Mal seizures as a child inside of our local Kingdom Hall. I believe that they chalked it up to the lighting in the hall and had all the lighting fixtures in the whole hall removed and changed. A few years later I did a convention "interview" part with two other people on the topic of staying loyal and reliant on Jehovah in times when things are entirely out of your control. Im starting to remember a lot more about growing up JW.

Matt 24: 1 - end… was Jesus speaking to his disciples about the end of temple and the jewish system. All you have to do is read from verse 1. JWs start from verse 3.
