Started watching your content back in 2021 when I started ARR. I wanted to find a simple guide on RU-vid that would go over the UI because I haven't played an mmo like that in a while so I needed to get used to the systems again after playing shooters and other kinds of games. Your guides really helped with that, along with other stuff like dungeon and raid guides. Fast forward to 2024 and I'm geared up and counting down til Dawntrail with ya, will be picking up the Twitch drop as well, thanks for being awesome Bun!

It actually doesn't count if you have it in the background or muted in the player, but if you use a Chromium browser, you can mute the tab and have the browser open in the background (not minimized) and all time counts.

As a sprout I'm not even through stormblood yet. At least when I eventually get to DT there will be tons of guides and information.

16:00 Back in the day, you used to have to "Send the Batch" of credit card transactions, usually nightly. Also Japan is surprisingly VERY VERY old fashion when it comes to some laws (I work for a major university, and Japan still requires wet signatures for documents that dont explicitly state governing law as Japan, whereas the rest of the world moved on to electronic signature as the norm decades ago). It would not surprise me if their financial system had some old as hell post payment processes, including batching, and I bet this happens with some frequency over the weekends (e.g. most people encounter this on the weekends) and its resolved by Mondays.

Kind of surprising how much content I just didn't do in Endwalker, that I decided to cram during the last few days because getting groups for stuff like criterion dungeons will be impossible unless they improve the reward system. The end of the long running MSQ story really kind of ended a lot of motivation for me and many others to keep playing I don't doubt. If they put more work into the new modes they added with following Dawntrail patches, hopefully it will keep this old content relevant.

With a little tweak on "The Final Countdown" lyrics, you could make it fitting for the final countdown to Dawntrail. Like replace "Earth" with "end" and "Venus" with "West".

I am impressed with the communities organization skills. My characters have items put where they’ll fit 🤣 Definitely no order to the chaos! 😅 I need to go through and organize it. I forgot about the chocobo saddlebags. I bet that’s where my missing items are stored. 🤣🤣

A tip for those who want to AFK. You can’t mute the stream via the player but on the tab it has a speaker when something is playing. Click that and it mutes the tab and the stream still think it’s playing the video properly

My highest level is 83, its taken several days of level roulette to get from 80 to 83 & thats doing constant level roulette because im not sitting through praetorium if theres no moogle tome stone reward for it.

Does anyone know if it has to be live FFXIV twitch streamer viewing? Any idea if vods count?

I think any streamer who plays dawnbringer msq on release should just put dawnbringer MSQ spoiler in the title of the video. That way, anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled can avoid the stream.

Why do people clutter up their bags with nonsense like dyes and baits and stuff? Those things cost nothing on the market, just sell what you have and buy it back later if you need it, then you have empty bags. I never felt the need to have more than 2 retainers because I don't save junk that's not worth anything. Don't let your hoarding lead you down the road of paying monthly microtransactions to Square, you don't need the extra retainers at all.

Maintenance starts as of posting this comment, Arizona time... in 5 hours 45 minutes. Currently making sure I have poetics for the augmented cryptlurker viper and pictomancer weapons and both scouting/casting sets. I will be there in your stream for the chocolate bird!
