With Caltrains EMD F40 fleet being the workhorse along the Caltrain peninsula subdivision for roughly 40 years, their time is coming to an end. Today, every one of these locomotives will be decommissioned and eventually scrapped, sold, or put in museums, and replaced by the brand new Stadler KISS Bi-level EMU fleet. This video will be a compilation of all F40s numbered 900-922 with the exception of 910, 919, and 903, which were retired between 2021-2023. Timestamps are included below.
