Omg I've spent almost every summer of my life in skiathos, and the year I didn't visit is the year Sophie is there 😂 And yes, it's rainy in skiathos, it's why it's so green.

I am Greek and let me firstly thank you for supporting the local businesses in Skiathos our country's economy is heavily related to tourism and the past 2 years have been very difficult for small businesses. Skiathos is beautiful and so are many other islands in Greece! I recommend Kriti , any Cyclades island and perhaps Zakinthos for your next trip! Watched all you're vlogs in skiathos...loved em all Sophie..last time we went was 2019, couldn't land for bad weather,so we ended up in Athens and got a boat 🚢 next day...Then Thomas Cook went belly up next day!! What an adventure that was...we actually got the last Thomas Cook flight home ever from skiathos, all run with a voluntary crew...we had a whip round on the plane and raised around £550 for them..Happy holidays always.✈️🏝️❤️☀️👍 You are brilliant in you're vlogs with excellent narration.🌞

Well it's plainly obvious that I don't regret for a minute coming across this channel. Fantastic trip, bummer it had to end. You two busting a move with that couple made the heart sing. Pinky is adorable. Major dog lover here. I have big time anxiety with flying too (as I deal with anxiety disorder to begin with) . Haven't flown in over 10 years though. Anyway I already raved about your personality..bears repeating that it just shines.

I'm glad you had a good time. Next time you're in Skiathos you should visit the other 2 island near, Skopelos and Alonnisos. They are beautiful. Also in Alonnisos you might be able to visit the National Sea Park and see the "Mediterranean monk seal", called "Monachus monachus". Best time of summer to be in Greece in 15th of August, it's crouded but there many celebrations, dances and local folklore festivals allover Greece.
Aww I've loved all three of these vlogs. If you do go again I recommend hiring a car for at least some of the time so you can see the rest of the island (and find more fab places to eat !) 🥰🥰

The cake soph got is called a kok cake and yes you nee to be careful with how you pronounce it, I’m not sure what the cake James got it’s probably a general Greek chocolate cake
The cake thing you were eating is called a kok.......I promise I am not swearing or being rude...that is what it is called in Greece. Where I live in Australia, it is called a yo-yo because saying kok is considered rude...and yes, I do realise I should be spelling kok with a c but I simply can't! Oh btw if you travel to Greece and you want one of those cakes please do not call it a yo-yo because yo-yo in Greece means a potty!!!!! There you go!😁
