THE FINALS gameplay with Gyro Controls using Joy-Con on PC More: Ep2 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BXUjcn68aPU.html Ep1 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZaIU7qaCoxo.html
New to steam gyro - I’ve been using the dualsense edge w/ flick stick on some PvE games and loving it. I’m using thermal tap for gyro disable which basically adds a free button. I like how this looks. Do you mind posting your control scheme and model joycons you’re using?
Nice setup, the tape mod on dualsense is a really cool thing and probably what I would use if I used a dualsense too. For my setup I actually just switched off of reWASD and that's why I haven't posted the config with this video like I usually do, but it's posted with my other FINALS videos as well as the control layout. I can't recommend using reWASD anymore though which is why I stopped using it. These Joycon are binbok RGBs and doyoky lumos.
i still hope that someday your video's get more viewus and gyro aiming becomes more popular. many people still dont believe in the benefits of gyro aiming. i cant understand why this is not more popular. making game profiles is not really that hard. i use almost the same config in every game, wether i use steam or rewasd. i even tried gyro rathecting on joycons and on the alpakka controller. and i also learned flick stick controls. Gyro may not be as accurate as a mouse. (because the friction of a mousepad makes the mouse more accurate) but it is still 100% beter then sticks and aim asssist,
Thanks! As unpopular as it seems right now I really think we are on the upswing for gyro in general. The biggest games out there like COD and fortnite have official gyro support, and I see more gyro creators and comments asking for it every day. At this point it feels like an inevitable path forward, but the real battle is making people try something new compared to what they are used to which will be sticks + AA.
@@directedinput as far as i can see is that theire are 3 big problems. 1 most developers dont implement gyro all that well. 2 most people dont want to make convigs for theire pc shooters 3 most people dont want to try a new control scheme
@@caleasthetic I think aim assist is the big enemy of gyro. Remove that soft-aimbot and people will be forced to use gyro as the only viable way to use a controller, overriding all the other obstacles you've listed
@directedinput btw, i've been using mobapad m6hd and i love it. of course i had the drift issue for my own as well. but i read a reddit about downgrade their firmware with the official app to solve the issue and then i downgraded mine to 1.16. and the issue is gone. it doesn't seem keep coming back anymore. (i use only jsm for gyro)
Hardware wise I would say Joycon wins that easily. They are much easier to find, cheaper, more durable and of course wireless. Software wise up until recently the Joycon would have won as well but because of the recent issues with reWASD it is more complicated. I would still say the joycon edges it out if you are comfortable using Steam input.
Maybe with two different remappers you could do that, but I think controlling the mouse would just end up with one taking over at a time. I've never tried it so not sure
@@directedinput i tried switch controller - to emulate dualshock 4 with ds4windows. Playstation button layout shows But gyro for some reason not working Fortnite works good with ds4win
