First two minutes can be skipped, I forgot to cut it out. This gameplay is done with the new Steam Input "Gyro to Mouse", the new gyro has far higher precision thanks to the "$1 Filter", it's really nice I would encourage everyone to try it out.

Yeah I'm now giving steam input a fair shake, after being on jsm for months and on acceleration. Now am using 5 linear What's your sens now, still 6.6?

@@massognagna With JSM im using sensitivities between 6.0-6.6, but with steam input im currently on 7.5 im not sure why the same sens feels slower on steam.

@@getdunkedI felt the same thing, i figured it was the missing overclock, but im not so sure now. It definitely feels less "loose" than jsm and more stable

@@getdunked you Are living proof that aim assist is a bullshit mechanic that is without excuse. A mouse is not required to have pinpoint precision. Gyro is incredible.

Yo any tip and I do mean any for find your sensitivity using track pad and gyro I have a steam deck and really want to use both of them but I don’t know where to start

I would say that using a higher sensitivity for the trackpad and a lower one for the gyro would be preferable in your case. Since the Steam Deck is a hefty device, there is no point in doing the large aiming with the gyroscope.

@@rickhotdog5080 Sensitivity is pretty much preference, as a baseline I would recommend 4 Real World Sensitivity on the gyro and 1 swipe one the trackpad for either a 180 or full 360 in game. If you don't know, RWS = Real World Sensitivity refers to the amount of in game rotations your character can make with one single revolution in real life.

I'm just about grandmaster in VT benchmarks and he has some tracking scores on his playlist that I don't think I could get if I grinded it for weeks.

Hi, I saw that in the past you used acceleration, can you tell me which acceleration program work with jsm, I do not use steam

JSM has its own acceleration, that is what I was using. The only program that didn't have acceleration was "Ds4Windows", with that you are able to use "RawAccel" which is by far the best acceleration program, but it doesn't work with JSM.

Thanks you, 2 more questions if i may. Where can i find the documentation for acceleration in jsm, because the readme file does not mention it. And in your opinion, does jsm acceleration work great with natural curve as in raw accel? Because that the only curve i'm interested in

@@qoconstantine199 The documentation for JSM is under Elektronicks GitHub page github.com/Electronicks/JoyShockMapper As far as the accel goes, there is only linear acceleration available with JSM. You can read up on this if you look for "MIN_GYRO_SENS", on the GitHub page. I personally don't like the accel in JSM and have since then switched back to steam input again.

No, since the game cant see my controller inputs as xinput anyway, because i map all the inputs on the controller as a virtual mnk.

@@getdunked Crazy they allow that with steam inputs. I feel aim assist is a bit over tuned in some games. It's what causes issues with remapping. Would you consider it cheating if they allowed gyro to have aim assist as an in game option? Sorry for all the questions just like the topic 😂

@@vortex1Mango IMO, Aim assist has always been way too overtuned, but it's only "recently" become such a huge topic with the introduction of crossplattform games. As for your question, if the developers add the gyroscope into the game and allow aim assist to be used with it, I don't think it can really be considered cheating in any way. The game would then have it as a mechanic that has become a part of the game, but there is the issue of developers themselves, not being knowledgeable about this topic. The devs are adding an input device to help analog sticks, but are forgetting about the fact that analog sticks have the OP buff of aim assist, if this is because of ignorance or not doesn't really matter, the weaknesses that analog sticks had are then mostly gone. I mean fundamentally, aim assist, at least today, exists to bridge the gap between controller and mnk, but 10 years ago this sentence wouldn't really make sense, since aim assist existed back then as well, but there was no need to bridge the gap between anything, because the only people controller players were versing, were other controller players, so what gives ? All the addition of aim assist did, is lower the skill floor across all fps games, regardless of platform. Conclusion: Aim assist is a garbage mechanic.
