885.0 ELopez there’s plenty of competition lol when you’re drag racing in the high 8s there’s much faster cars than this. Too many 7s GTRs and Civics that dust it 🤷🏻♂️
BloodyVlone those use mostly aftermarket parts. This car uses mainly OEM parts. I believe the only aftermarket piece on this car is the torque converter but that’s it.
What interesting to know is, Aj said he had to take Rpm out of it to hook up! The Potential of this Hellaphant is Amazing! And it’s a 3.17 Pulley that came with this motor! This looks like an Potential 8 second motor From FCA! Well done Boy’s!👏💪🏼👍😎
Why would a car built to run 9’s (if it was a demon or redeye) with it original motor run slower with a more powerful engine... come on now use your head regular hellcats use to run 10’s with radials or slicks with 700+ hp this is 1000...
carlton Bankz true, I never seen Demonology break into the 9s until he modified the Soul snatcher and it took over a year for a stock demon to hit the advertised 9.65. I figure first time out would be more of a testing phase. There is still room for improvement in these runs and this will be an exciting car to watch.

More power does not readily translate into lower ET's and high trap speeds. 20% or more power is a huge difference to the gearbox, tires, and track conditions of the day. Guy was pulling 9.2's on a shakedown day. Every tenth lower is harder than the previous one. A few tenths lower is very difficult.
Yes he did have too and it was a nice touch but funny joke on Honda considering a lot of the younger Honda owners put those stupid fart cans on them and it sounds terrible it sounds like a runaway chainsaw
Hi AJ and Demonology I'm a muscle car guy myself and that Dodge Demon is a strong car from day one ! But now with that helehant 426 hemi crate engine sitting under the hood you turn that car into a insane freaking monster !!! Even spinning through its gears it still did a 9.2 on the drag strip that's good ! But you can tell the car has alot more in it just imagine with more tuning that is easy 8 or a 7's sec car in the quarter mile all day long !!
Lmao that’s cute. I have a 2016 Hellcat (7,000miles) with a built engine and a maggy and run that same time... difference is I paid 40 for it used and 20 in upgrades. Hope to see you sometime and show ya what built engines look like
No offense bro but you're going to be eating your words soon. Your car sounds sick and all but I feel I should point out that this car is running a factory stock Hellephant engine and is far from finished which is obvious from the vid. Launches need work, adjustments and tuning are needed, a new converter for the tranny... Not to mention, this was the cars first time out and it hit a 9.27 at 150 its first time out during test runs. It won't be long before we see this car buttoned up and running 8's all day long. Yes you bought your car cheaper used and you spent $20,000 in mods for a 9 sec car but this is a Demon which is a collector and is increasing in value. You spent $20,000, he spent $30,000 for the Hellephant engine which is also extremely limited production and therefore makes this Demon even more valuable. Not dogging your car at all man, just trying to offer some perspective.
