I am aware of that, but BBR is still in control of the design and production of their models, and BBR tends to have high standards. From what I've seen, and I have every BBR to date, they are much better than mini gt
Ya to bad about the front badge. They should have got that right! Looks great otherwise.just got my top secret r34 that you mentioned to review yesterday. Looks great too. Looking forward to your review!
Great video as always. Like you, a little pissed that this is an event release as it's the one everyone wants in classic Rosso Corsa. Up until this video though I didn't know about the uproar in the community. It would be cool to see you do some "news" style videos where you discuss things like that as well as new model announcements/leaks etc. Some of the lego guys get some great viewer numbers from that type of video but not sure how time consuming it would be to put together.
Very nice model. I also collect BBR models in 1:18 and are pretty amazing and expensive..LOL. BBR has the Ferrari license so it´s curious to read in the 1:64 model box the collab with Burago. It´s a shame made this color as exclusive, because many Ferrari fans love Rosso Corsa color. Maybe, being the first 1:64 BBR Ferrari model, the brand wanted to know the collector´s behaviour. Let´s see what happens with the next Ferrari models. Any idea of future releases? I know that this 296 GTB is going to release with Asetto Fiorano package (red and yellow color combo in the exterior), My model has also the front logo a little bit missaligned and the paint has fingerprints, even being a complete brand new...As a collectors we have have to deal with these things and accept them, but I love the perfection and some other brands are almost next to the perfection in the execution and what you receive is like a little gem in your hands. Greeting from Germany
Yeah bro you were right about this 296 on IG. A lot of folks (including myself) were shitting on BBR so much, and in my opinion rightfully so. But since my collection has a slight majority towards Ferraris, I will be getting this one too though. But only at the right price.
@@Booster_Diecast For real bro I agree 100 percent. It also makes it too much of a money grab for scalpers too. Especially when this all red one could've been a general release in the first place. These special event cars are hella wack bro.👎
I'm glad we're starting to see good quality licenced Ferrari models, it's the one thing that has stopped me buying them. Yes, I know about TLVN models, but they are a step up in price that I don't want to pay.
That's very true with TLVN, but it's worth it though. At least in my experience. Yes the price is kinda steep, and they did have some hiccups with the Countach's doors. But as they say, you get what you pay for, and it's nothing but high quality all around.
Got mine at the beginning of the week. Paid a premium for it unfortunately, but I have to have all 1:64 BBR Ferrari's in red 😀 The Ferrari logo in front is dead center on my copy.
@@Booster_Diecast At this price point it shouldn't be, maybe the sets were done by different co-workers. I can imagine placing the photo etched stuff is a manual job.
I like the model but smth about the paint just look like a toycar hahaa (obviously it is but not on a collectors pov). very plastic look. if paint had some cool finish like how some 1/64 get proper paint down with pearl ascents will be nice.
