Bonne idée! Love these boats! Aura is beautiful but I am more interested in the Samana 59 because we have a very large family. I saw that the dual 50kW electric motors can propel the Samana 59 at 5 knots for 10 hours. Can these motors propel the 59 at 10 knots for 3-5 hours? Or is 5 knots a power limit for the motors? I would personally like to see faster speeds for shorter times, especially with the upcoming oPV sails in testing which can supply 30 kWh of power in a single day to the motors at 100m² of integrated oPV in the mainsail. Looking forward to the concept of supplementing the motors with the oPVs in the sail fabric. This is a great time to be dreaming about a catamaran!
