Brand new MetroCity EVs have entered service on route W11. These are the new allocation of the route, And are replacing Enviro 200 MMCs.
Route W11 runs from Chingford Hall Estate, To Walthamstow Central Bus Station. Via Walthamstow Stadium, Crooked Billet Sainsbury's, Higham Hill, Blackhorse Road Station, St James Street Station and South Grove.
Route W11 runs around every 12 to 15 minutes. The route has a peak vehicle requirement of 9, And is 4.5 miles (7 km) long. Route W11 is operated by Stagecoach, Running from Walthamstow Avenue (AW) garage. Route W11 was retained by Stagecoach on the 2nd of March 2024.
A full journey on route W11 takes around 25 to 45 minutes. Route W11 runs from 05:00 until 00:48. Route W11 commenced operation on 19 November 1988. The route was initially operated by London Forest using MCW Metroriders. On 21 May 1994, the route was extended to Chingford Hall Estate.
