why do i feel like, i have grinded 80 - 90% of the entire game, before the first season arrives

Fun fact about Sharen… you don’t need to completely successfull during infiltration missions! Just popping 1 checkpoint qualifies you for the additional awards! I still try to complete all 3/4 points but you really only need 1

I've been having a bug on Sharen where my controls occasionally lock up after using her 4th ability. I can't shoot or activate an ability until I fast travel.

i said this and ill say it again, grindy games should be grindy, you only felt the grind when the grind isnt fun enough to distract you, make the grind fun/exciting , not make the grind less less grind = less game = faster dead game

Solo playing can be really fun, but playing with a team is where it's at . The problem is if you go into a Colossus battle and don't know the mechanics and your not communicating with the others, yeah nuff said. They should really have a tutorial on the mechanics of interceptor battles. At least for the more difficult ones. Just my opinion.

I would definitely be up for any Sharen love. Maybe increase her sprint speed while in stealth, going through enemies while in stealth sounds fun too. I think Capt Harris will be the next descendant.

Re-levelling up is killing me but I might have brought it on myself due to having Prestige Bunny 11x, Ult Bunny 9x, Gley 8x, Sharen 3x and I feel I can't do it anymore, the game needs a way faster way of leveling when re-levelling and why you can't reallocate crystallisation catalyst slots that you’ve already bought per character to other setting pages is simply baffling. But the monetisation in this game feels so aggressive and it feels so greedy and although I do want to buy some items and spend to support the game, I look at the monetisation, the lack of effort in quality of life features and I just don’t feel I want to put money in these guys' pockets, you cant even toggle the helmets on and off characters, the storage as no filter options, the drop rates are bogus and it feels like all around this is the most unstable, grind for a chance at a chance for another chance at a chance for a chance to get a chance at a piece of an item looter shooter I have ever played. I enjoyed the power fantasy of games like this and I think Bunny is an amazing character and she pretty much kept me playing this game but I haven’t played the game in eight days and I don’t miss it tbh, I miss Bunny ngl but I have watched some twitch streamers playing Bunny and I get my fix of Bunny their so I will drop the game for now and check in with channels like this from time to time to see if there are better improvements soon, but if not, I will not return to this game just like I did with Outriders and Anthem

The fact that they think Enzo is a gimmick character leads me to believe he doesn't know what he's doing. I have 19 second cloak on my Sharen and have zero issues dropping the boss at outposts. Also you don't have to disable them all on one cloak, just hide outside the wall and let the skill cooldown and disable the others. I do wish her ult was faster to deploy or dealt more damage when only one enemy is targeted.

After 500 h i have unlocked all desendants building the last one ult gley right now for all who think its to hard or takes to long keep at it nothing is impossible

as far as new descendants go, i think they need to focus on more variation for our current elements. I dont know why they went with Luna first when we have multiple non-attribute Descendants already. We have 1 chill and 1 poison descendant, I think the next one is chill so I would like the Descendant after to be poison for more variety.

People aren't using Sharen right, she is a crazy boss killer also

Things I would love to see in the future is playlists for the main game modes. Infiltrations, wave mode and bosses. I know it would need balancing to bring the easy ones up and the hard ones down to balance them a little more but one issue will be the player base being spread thin across everything. If you’re farming for something that’s not super popular you will be doing it alone in a few months. Trying to find people in some of the wave modes is hard and others find people in 3 seconds. Be good to go into a player pull and go onto a random mission. Maybe selectable target loot.

I would love to see more then 5 slots for building stuff in the forge. The slots schoulb be increased with MR. There are actually only 3 slots because two of them are permanently used für ea and cc.

Hey All, Sharen main here with about 200 hours on her. I agree she doesn't do as well as other descendants in certain aspects of the game but I don't think the camo is her issue. She has a mod that increases damage dealth from stealth which already adds more worth to the ability than only running infilitrations. I also have a super low CD build where I spam camo into flash shortsword and can clear huge waves of enemies without issue. That being said there are definitely needs for improvement on some of her abilities. Her active camo and flash shortsword abilities have very long animation times (her flash shortsword being the longest by far). The long animation time on her ult makes it feel somewhat clunky, it should be able to be shot off as soon as the targets appear and not a good 1 second to 1.5 seconds after. The other issue is the projectile speed of the swords, they move slow to the point where you will miss a lot especially if other descendants are around leading the enemies in all different directions (the swords hit much better if the enemies are running at you or away from you). The last issue with flash shortsword is using it vs collossus, you can use a module that allows you to hit 20 targets but you will only hit the boss once directly in the chest (even if it's immune). Overall if built right, Sharens kit actually feels quite good and it is a lot of fun. I can stealth and spam my cutoff beam without CD due to multi talented and I hit 1.5m - 2.3m crits with it which shreds bosses. The missle speed of flash shortsword and the long animation times of Sharen's abilities are definitely the worst part and my fingers are crossed that she will get some buffs for thos specific things (although it might not be likely as she isn't very popular). P.S: Where are the Sharen limited time skins. Right now I can be robotic golf visor sharen, normal hair robot sharen, or robot predator (from the movie) Sharen.

The current World Chat is a mess. It’s 70% off-topic, 10% random, and only 20% LFG. The chat moves way too fast, making it almost impossible to read or click on someone's name. A dedicated LFG tab with a longer message timer, like 60-120 seconds, would be a huge improvement-similar to Warframe’s Market and LFG chats. This isn’t to bash the game; I just want a better way to find groups that know what they’re doing."

Might be too late for top comment, but here is my take on sharen skill reworking: Invisible capped at 20 seconds, but skills do not break invisible and kills can extend time. Add a module that allows pass through of enemies and knives pass through obstacles.

I’ve got an easy fix for Sharen. Take her passive cooldown away. Her specialty is to be invisible, why put a limit on it? Let her be able to chain cast her camouflage as long as she’s getting a kill. I’d love to main Sharen but her limits seem pointless when you have a character like Bunny!

yes sharen needs some love, there is an entire group of players that enjoy stealth base gameplay and atm sharen is only used for infiltration rewards. however i also think that they should change how the rewards for those should be tweaked. i am one of those players that absolutly LOVES blasting and the gun play in TFD however to farm a moderate amount of amps i am kinda forced to play sharen because u can only get the 2nd reward with sharens... imo a good fix for this would be you can get 1 or the other amp at a set 25% chance however having a sharen allows you a GREATER chance at getting either of them and a chance at double amp reward. (only slightly changes the current system but also doesnt force everyone into playing sharen.) (ofc an overall sharen buff may actually fix my complaints of sharens gameplay just not what i enjoy lol)

Nobody seems talking about a big annoyance, the closure of the door for the final stage of mission, even sometimes being 1 s behind you re locked like a moron. They need to make a closure taking several seconds. its very infuriating...

8:00 The people complaining about lack of cloak duration are the ones NOT going to sentry posts and disabling 3 of them to bring the timer up from 1min to 4min and there that 10-12 cloak time is just fine, with enough time to kill the mobs and boss. And the complaint about standing around, well if you're going around the map for those posts, by the time you get back the outpost is ready for raiding. She doesn't need cloak time extended when getting a kill, her cloak cooldown already resets when getting a kill while cloaked.

For someone who hasnt bought his way through the game and earned everything I have with almost 300hrs played, I gotta say, the pace at which this content is coming out is great! I have plenty of Ultimate weapons, 14 Descendants and working on getting the rest (almost have Ult Gley) and still need to finish my main weapon for bosses, which won't take long. By the time Season 1 comes out, I should have killed all the Hard Bosses👌 Plenty to do in this game if you are JUST PLAYING the game. If you "buy" your grind away then yes, you are probably just waiting for more content to buy.

This game really needs some end game stuff to bring maxed out descendants in. Until that arrives the gave will leak players. Just adding a boss and a descendant isn’t enough. Especially when the grind is exactly the same.

Sharen needs a buff for sure. She has one viable boss spec that is very lackluster. If her whole point of existence is for infiltration, she should be better at it. If she’s supposed to be a bosser, she should be better at it.

No 17 has a pretty simple design. Makes me feel that when he becomes playable is going to be amazing. :v As for Sharen. Her cloak is already long enough and u get a reset on kill. The only problem I know she has is with the shield augment. The extra dmg does not scale with shield capacity. That is the only change she might need.

Sharen needs a stealth takedown and that would slightly boost her duration, or even a Transcendent Mod that applies this effect! Also, they need to increase the UI speed of animation on the Customization screen. Transitions between paints and whatnot are too long. This also applies to a few other in game screen transitions.

I love Sheran she is my main. Even when I started the game I wanted to unlock her first. Luckily you basically get her for free. Going through whatever time I have to play. I constantly try different sets with her. I compare her to Ash from Warframe, at first people said Ash was cheeks. Then time went in and he needed a nerf (no more rakta dagger) then spam 4. I just feel like yes she was made for the outpost but once you find a good boss build and good invade build with the right weapons you like She’s good. Mobbing not so much, like what assassin do you know like to mob? I also do agree with the chained invisibility, kind of like stylish executioner that would fix the mob problem. Oh yea and pop the 4 after 2. She’s an assassin she is not to be seen while attacking. Read her passive once more.

They should add a party finder system. You create your party, add it to the party finder with the requisites needed to join it. The requisites could be level of the descendant, the descendant, type of descendant, equipping a certain weapon, having a certain amount of defense etc. Players looking for a party would just need to open a window and find it. This kind of system is really old and many mmos have it. I'm fed up of having to go through discord or shouting on the world chat for a good amount of minutes just to never find anyone.

The issue with people not being prepared for boss battles is that many don't want to polarise every slot and the grind required. I stopped playing at the obstructor and the requirement for a bunny during that boss fight and way too much going on during the fight. Plus, most bosses have crappy weak points as they jump around, particularly the one with the weak point on the back, while they are immune. I thought Albion looked better in the beta. I am on console because it crashes less than pc. RU-vidrs seem to be universally praising the developers for listening to the players when they could be manipulating drop rates like they did before.

Ps5. 550 hours in. Loving the game and getting the perfect builds together.

Going on proper builds. It’s crazy to think some ppl really think “but as long as I do a lot of dmg I’m good” I remember running with a bunny who went down literally every 5-10sec. When I suggested that he should build up/def. His argument was “well that’s what doing 50mil dmg looks like”. Yet 50mil dmg meant nothing because we failed. If you need to be revived, you’re taking dps away from those who have to stop and revive you.

I think Sharen needs a rework more so than a buff. I think they need to either rework her ult to be one of her abilities (scale it down) and make a new ult or change her other two abilities. Her stun isn't that useful when a lot of the late-game enemies don't get stunned (effectively making it a useless ability), and her electric sword is a little underwhelming imo. It's too short of a cone ability. I think rewording it to work in tandem with her camo can be really cool. Like what the poster said where while in stealth, you pop the sword on an enemy, and you kill them, you get some kind of duration buff on camo or something. For her stun, I would just either change the ability to something else or rework it. I think for the change, they should give her a clone that can taunt enemies into attacking it, and after a short duration, it explodes. However, if that's not to your liking, how about Sharen being able to leave spikes on the ground that do (dot) damage?

making a character able to do everything is asking too much imo, if your sharen is build for stealth for recon outpost then use weapon to deal dmg, if your sharen is build for dmg then dont expect to be giga tanky, if your sharen is build for utility (armor shred) then stay on support role to help team instead of front lining with your thundercage :v

Sharen Needs a Buff. The fact that her passive has a Cooldown , & a large 1 at that. If she gets a kill, while invisible it should . . . . . - Reduce Her Damage Bonus by 5% - Extend her Current Invisible Duration by ½ of what's left per kill ✔ or a base amout of seconds by the attack modifier stat ✔ Another Suggestion. Her Special-Move 3 should have the "Towed" effect. This would give her some greater CControl & Synergy with other Descendant Pairs.

Enzo is not a gimmick character. He is literally the best bosser in the game. (that's not a 1 shot)... People just need to actually build him and not just play him for the vaults lol.

Anais, 100%. Colossi arenas should have the whole atmosphere built around their elements (also don't copy paste the same arena if they are the same element). To the Molten Fortress guy: I always insta-quit if I see 1 or 2 not doing the mechanics. It's way faster to find a new group than waste time with one that's clueless. Wish all the Colossi had their 1 player versions.

Sharen is in an okay state, personally i wish her q transcendent mod didnt cut the damage from 800% to 200%, 400% i could understand cause you could make a wicked invis into flying q build. Her sniper build for collusi is really fun, and wildly underestimated, but only really good for solo and maybe duo play

The second that the person who wanted a Sharen buff said that Enzo is only situational they lost all credibility. Enzo is one of the stronger characters and has multiple options for playstyle

Sharen can easily do 4 pillars and get in front of the boss to dome him with just 2 leveled duration mods... Its very simple to do, no need for a change here. Also Sharen double sniper is #1 high end dps, so she has her uses... What i wouldn't mind his her red Q module to not reduce skill power and also add a bit more width to the sonic wave for faster mobbing, and maybe quicker ulty, cause even with Void domination red mod its still slow af, and has no other use except for mobbing.

Sharen needs an entire rework. It's why I'm hoping the new descendant is *not* a sniper. We already have a sniper that needs to be fixed. I disagree with the poster, the duration of her 2 is fine. It's her 3 and 4 that are useless. They should redesign her from scratch. Her passive should be that if you kill mobs with melee from stealth, it extends the duration of your stealth and makes you move faster or something cool like that.

Give me Captain Harris with the ability to call in air support or construct mechs/ turrets. Make her the Jayber we deserve... cause clearly they aren't gonna fix him at this rate.

I love playing Sharen and currently believe that the only buff she needs is the beam sword mod and definitely her natural shield recovery speed.

No. 17 without a doubt like what does he’s possess. Because we would have 3 healers, we would have a possible “flyer” or a jettrooper like from starwars battlefront ps2 original, or a material farmer? Or a person who has a passive increased to better loot and better rewards decryption ? 🤷🏽‍♂️ I’m on pc, But I would love to be on ps5. I know planetsides 2 is not cross platform but is multi platform and free to play. I would say it’s a hard contender. And I’ve been playing since they first launched played it on pc and ps4, hard to say.

For survivability I always run a ton of HP and my defence is usually hovering around 6 to 8k but health is usually 40 to 80k. Then I swap in what ever element I need to protect against in colossi battles. However the cost trade off in all my builds is DPS. My lower hp builds have higher dps and the higher hp builds have lower dps.

HP isn't the only thing to build and we need to stop trying to simplify stats. Defense helps against physical damage and resistances helps against elemental damage. Defense does nothing against pure elemental attacks. Note: 4k in an elemental resistance is about a 10% reduction to that damage. Also, the autoimmunity and psychological victory mods give 10% and 7.5% respectively all damage reduction. In addition, some descendants have abilities that buff, increase, or help them regain shields like Enzo, Viessa, Ajax, and Kyle. Having a good mix of defensive options will benefit you and your survivability a ton rather than just building a singular stat and hoping for the best. And remember: your dps is 0 if you are on the floor vomiting. (My friend commented how the downed state looks like our characters are on their hands and knees puking lol)

Sharen doesn't need to do the infiltration in one sequence, go outside the walls and restealth if needed if your duration isn't long enough

To get code breakers you need to equip one of your components that increases chance to find CONSUMEABLES! Code breakers count as CONSUMEABLES! I gotten like over 100+ just from this simple strategy. Also you will never get your ultimate characters fast if you don't unlock your sharon!! I even think some Ultimate characters can only be unlocked by a sharon. It take like less then a few hours to unlock her. Once unlocked USE ONLY Duration modules and 1HP module then farming will be a breeze! You can now easily unlock Ultimate characters is less then 5-10 hours.

I have a 20 second build Sharen and I shared it

Sharons dmg is nasty when built right, the problem is people think shes only useful for stealth. Buffing her stealth duration would be a mistake.

I play on ps5 and its thriving so much so that I constantly meet people by the outposts, void reactors, etc and even though this game has its flaws, theres lots of people still playing and enjoying TFD myself included.

Sharen needs an upgrade in terms of invisibility duration and also base HP. She gets hit hard when she de-cloakes. If she was tankier then, it would be worthy investing more time into playing her character.

They need to change the drop rates of mission rewards. Doing something 60+ times for something with a 4.5% drop chance is ridiculous. Even my Ultimate Lepic didn’t take that long, and I farmed for him on normal.

as bunny, i go up close on bossses and do insane damage (depending on the boss ofc).., its risky, you can die, but worthwhile.., so if you did good damage but die, its np ... but if you don't do much damage and just keep dying..

Void Intercept battles with randoms can get super frustrating. I told my wife either I was really good (which I don't think so) or people were really putting every skill module they can find with no defense thinking they one shot a collosi on hard mode because they are using a Bunny.

With the arena, the environments need to be more presented of the bosses elements. Examples would be like ice caverns, lava caverns, huge electric laboratories, and swamp land. The arena levels need to be more interesting.

Play this game on PS5 and I really enjoy it. I just got ultimate bunny yesterday and it was a grind I'll never forget.

So Here is the thing about the boss arena and how it used to look, Major reason they changed it was because of the performance hit it took on players pc's. Now high end pc's would not have a big problem with this but mid to low end absolutely took a major shit, Now if they were able to have it be a option to turn on or off I would be 100% for that but you can't expect everyone to have high end pc's nor should they have to for the most part.

If it's not No. 17, it's ok to be wrong lol. I've been hoping for No. 17 to come to the game as a playable character similar to Sharen since the met him. We currently only have one character to do infiltration missions, so he would give us a second option!

Who's really crying about Sharyn invisible duration? I have like 18.3 sec or something and I have no issues with duration on any outpost. I do agree with the pass through mobs because sometimes they block the objective and that's annoying af

Hard disagree with increasing Sharen's base duration for stealth. 18-20 seconds is plenty enough to solo any infiltration mission. The game gives you various means to improve mobility, so use them. Maybe equip a pistol for faster movement, use grappling hook to get to the hacking point faster, etc...

Love that PSA. Use def and ele resist for hard mode colossi. It makes a differance. If ur dead. Thats 2 ppl not doing dps. Dont shoot the part im hanging on, were delaying the invulnerability. No reason the executioner should go into invulnerable 4 times 😂 but we got this!

I kinda feel like any Unique wepon abilities such as lepic's or freyna's should get a reduced cooldown after Canceling the ability early. I feel like a 40 to 50 sec cooldown after Canceling an ability is a lot, so i feel Canceling halfway through should give you like 20-30% less cooldown.

Sharen is soooo much better then people think..... she can easily clear entire hordes of enemies by her self lol .... People say she needs a buff shes already a really broken and OP character imo

I wonder where the story will go honestly. I play kyle and shields are the way to go. Tbh if i had shield collector i totally would build shield on more characters than i currently do. Sharen is actually underrated.

The literal only buff sharen needs imo is her third ability needs to do damage rather its a dot or direct doesnt matter. Stun doesn't work on named bosses or colossus so it just becomes a non existent skill when facing said enemies.

I wanna see a descendant that's not a character already in the game. And we need melee weapons. It would be dope to have a big sword or axe and just chop everything up with a tank build cuz tanking is really boring i feel like that would make it a fun to actually build a tank and not just glass dps builds

I think graphics could be push to look like that but I feel old generation is holding it up. I mean this game runs on tech from 2013 xD. I think that's more impressive

If your glass canon can kill the boss in 6-7seconds it doesnt matter how long you are dead, you doing more damage during time when boss is no focused on you than rest of the team who is surviving :)

Seeing so many comments with varying opinions on what should be fixed/changed, when the actual erroneously deplorable aspect of endgame is Reactor farming for BIS, which is the primary reason I’ve taken an extended leave from the game. I have every Descendant maxed/catalyzed and the game refuses to drop me a BIS reactor after a week of wasted time farming for one (considering there’s no option to re roll even one of the bottom stats 😂) funny enough had I even acquired one true BIS reactor I’d still be playing the game religiously.

No issues at all for Sharon at max level with 3 mods I get about 28-30 secs or 68.5 extra duration

I'm still playing on a PS4 pro, I was expecting a severely compromised version of the game, like the base Xbox one version seemed to be, but it looks decent and plays surprisingly well on the PS4 pro
