It's early, and it's not a bad game. It needs some optimization. Warframe has a better playstyle and cosmetic style and Destiny has a better story. This game needs some work.
It uses the default UE5 "Lumen" lighting, which is very expensive, and also makes it look similar to a lot of other UE5 games, asides from that it also doesn't do proper culling, the entire zone is always loaded in memory and is updating, it feels like the devs focused mostly on art style / mechanics / store and just stuck to unreal engine 5 default graphics options, the store is also terrible, the gameplay is fun, but no character has a cool ability, they are all generic abilities like elemental grenades, lasers, AoEs, etc... it's not original, and so I believe the game will fall off after 3-6 months, but that's just my take.
I’m digging the gameplay and story so far. The initial fiasco when I first loaded it up this morning was no good. Apparently if you set the graphics to anything but horrible on PS5 the game is totally unstable and runs for about 20 seconds past a load screen. Other than that taking some digging to figure out the rest has been good. Well minus one little issue that became 2 after watching the vid. Great content as always man. Looking forward to your guides for this one as well. So the whole boosters we have to pay absurdly for continuing to run when we’re not playing, grrrrrr that just pisses me off as to me it’s pretty much straight up theft. I wouldn’t be as salty about it if either this company or DE were upfront about it when you buy them. Anyways enough or my tangent and on to the reason I came to comment and hopefully get some insight. What on east is up with there being a timer on the boss, like not even a hard enrage, just straight up mission fails out of nowhere?
The ai is just straight up terrible my friend uninstalled it cause we kept spawn killing the mobs because they have a slow ass spawn animation I hate it remove it and spawn the mobs faster and I’ll be super excited to play this again but for now it’s just not for me.
I played the game for like an hour its very MMO style. The grappling hook range is very short., the movement sucks, and the AI is awful. I might play it a couple more time, but if I get stuck at certain levels and they try to make me spend money I will delete it.
