I played the free Bunny like this to 40 before deciding I wanted the Ultimate to invest in booster and catalysts. You don't need the Ultimate version unless you can't live without one of the exclusive red mods. High Voltage is neat for impressive overkill numbers, but it hits half as many mobs at a time per 7 meters moved. For large pack aoe clearing and farming crates regular Bunny still one-shots everything the same.

Yeah, but that's why the end game is about finding that one super weapon and getting it fully tricked out. Looter shooters all have some kind of grind attached, but it's up to the individual to make that grind worthwhile.
@@coldfries8976 grind for crystallization catalysts to half the storage capacity for the modules even if it resets just grind back up on certain missions

Thanks man. Hope you make this a series. So sick of getting half way through a build guide before finding out I need to farm Dead Bride on hard mode to get an esssential mod. I just started and I just want to know the basics. What is the priority for power strength, range, cooldown and duration? Is the bonus stat on a purple mod (eg. Focus on Electric) ever better than the higher main stat on the blue mod (eg. Electric Specialist)? What is more impactful out of Technician, Singular Specialist and Electric Specialist? What mods or stats are a trap and should never be used or built for. Things like that.
I have made the beginner mods for weapons and descendants already. As stated this build is for F2P Bunny. Don't worry, as I upgrade and gather mods I will make builds accordingly. This one is easy, so you can farm it completely F2P. Try it for yourself 😁👍. You'll see why everyone chooses me in the end. As for the types of mods, those are things you need to know only for super end game builds. Hence there is no need to know about them when starting out. Priority for strength, range etc. Depends on the character. There is no rule of thumb for all of them. You can only experiment and find out. I will cover each character as I work on them, but I cannot tell you straight up which one is better as it is highly character dependent

While I have heard about this, what I will say is that this was based on our testing and it worked gloriously well for us. I will quote what I said in a different comment: To clarify our choices: - Defense is good in storyline and that's how we cleared normal mode. It was very easy to stack up. This is what we showcased on our livestreams when pushing the content as far as we could on a point budget. - Hp is definitely good POST storyline and in the endgame, but building for it can be much more difficult than defense which is super easy to obtain. When you have limited mod space and capacity, it's hard to get the full value of hp. Hence why we chose this build pathway for the basics. It is not difficult to farm external components later on :) My job is to show people what worked for me and this worked for me. So thank you very much for your feedback, but builds and ideas change as new information comes to light. Having gone through several runs with this build, I was confident in it and has worked well!
The one question I have is i there's any utility to max out other sub attacks? Right now I have Short Sword maxed out, but I'm wondering if the Tonfa is just a visual preference, or if there's any actual utility vs Short Sword?
@j00st91 it's mostly a preference choice. All melee offer the same utility, but each has a differing attack pattern. I favour the tonfa, but the shortsword is also a fair choice tbh.
The DEF softcap is 80% per the tool tip, is the diminishing returns after the 80% negligible compared to what you could replace that diminished value with HP?
@alphabravo8988 you won't ever reach 80% 😁👍. At least based on our guesstimate Diminishing returns starts well before 80%. You won't ever reach the cap of 80% as this requires an astronomical amount of defense. We usually get close to 30 to 40% ish during the storyline and then around 40 to 50% as we start to go into hardmode As far as I know the damage reduction figure aside from the 80% cap is not shown in game (or I could have missed it, as the game only tells me how much defense I have and not the % reduction I'm getting. Do correct me if I'm wrong on this!) Ideal defense is around 64k (as close to our estimate of 50 to 60% (right now)) for Hard Mode. That's what we are using to survive most bosses and situations. We could push to 80k if necessary, but I don't view this as needed. So roughly, once you get around 64k, you don't really need more. It's quite doable if you get lucky with component options. Which then allows you to invest in other options like boosting hitpoints and/or shields to whatever level you wish.
Just wanted to tell you if you put a Catalyst on your shortsward is you get 15 slots instead of 10. So, like right now you are cap at 60, if you use a Cata and max level the char you will get 65 total.
It's actually more worth it to use it on some of the other maxed mods. For example, using it on increased Def brings the cost from 16 to 8. Giving you 8 points. So using the catalyst on the melee is usually the last resort ;). But yes, it increases your cap by an extra 5, just make sure you have taken care of other things first.
Would be nice to know how modules work . Like HP , what are they ? Are they more beneficial to skills or weapons ? Or max shield , is it my shield or does it only work if I use a shield ? Some modules are kinda confusing when it comes to description , especially when you're new to games like The first descendant . Also how to use a catalyst and why/where . They're a pain in the azz to farm for and obviously don't want to be wasted .

There is a pretty steep diminishing return on defense. I try to go for around 25k defense and then stack more HP. I have a little over 20k HP right now with Bunny
There is, but I will tell you honestly there is a huge diff between 25k and 40k in survival. Ideally you want 64k, rest into HP this is what (I'm currently) seeing as the biggest bang for your buck. You can also choose to go for damage reduction, optimize it how you like, but yeah, 25k is simply not enough for the harder content and you'll just get smoked straight up. My fellows have tried and it ends pretty badly compared to me who is usually stacking defense haha Edit: That said 20k hp is definitely quite extreme so if it's working for you. Enjoy lol. I don't think I can reach that with a basic build, but hey, if you can hit it, go for it.
@@la7era1u54 45k def is the sweet spot I have found myself with the rest being hp for a lot of characters. Some are more extreme like ajex who can other benfits from higher defense. But having highish defence with a decent amount of health is what is what i have found to work the best for me in all content so far.

When: Anytime you hit hard mode How: Use the Access info to see which Amorphous materials grant her pieces, choose whatever mission you feel you can finish at the fastest possible rate to acquire said materials. That's usually how I do it :P

electric specialist maximize range technician skills expansion skills extension shock punch This is a bunny build i’ve been using that requires no catalyst or activator, and i can farm most of the farming spots at very very fast speed, such as sterile land ambush point, both agna desert void reactors, and basically any void reactor tbh. I hit hard enough to one shot everything, and have such a huge range that i don’t even take damage for the most part. Hp and Def isn’t needed for most of the content that you will be using bunny for, so this build i’m giving is a build for those who want to do the very easy content easier. I wouldn’t recommend this for more aggressive spawn missions like white gulch loot cave and shipment base farm, as for those you will need since a significant amount of stronger enemies spawn
You know, I came to this Build video to see how you managed her mana Because Constantly running around with her you run out of mana all the time And it doesn't refresh fast enough. I was thinking well There must be mods that improve the mana regeneration Or use less mana or something. No , the answer is you don't run lol you hop. sprint run and hop all over the place.
Running constantly is usually a waste. You need to learn how to grapple, roll and use all the other tricks in your arsenal to dish out the damage. The alternative is to just farm MP Collector and replace "HP Collector". But this is a risky move at higher levels tbh. So yeah, I run when needed and use other movement tricks when needed.
Yeah, for when I look at focus on electric module and I go to acquisition info and it tells me what to click on, but it doesn’t say that I’m for sure gonna get it doesn’t show the mod itself
I'm pretty sure it's a mission monster drop. So when you go to that mission, you have to kill the enemies with the yellow name. You will definitely be able to get it after some time

Shields actually get damage reduction from defense and it always rolls on the last component. So you should always get shield as the sub option. You cannot roll any other sub option. Having thoroughly tested. HP > Shields, but Shields STILL receive damage reduction from defense. So always buff your Shields to a MINIMAL extent.
You do not want to roll for shield on anything. And you do not need NEARLY as much defense. 20-25k is gonna tank just as much as 50-60k defense if you have the health to back it up. An "official content creator" that "knows what theyre doing" should actually do some testing before throwing up build videos and recommending that people farm for gear thats not gonna help them

It's not for her base defense. most defense comes from external components anyway, but this build will be rejigged for the new HP > Def concept which everyone is building right now
Having 50 to 60k defense is much worse than having 20k def and 20k hp. The higher u go with defenses the less benefit u get from it. Even on this video u get half hp by getting hit once by regular mob attack lol.
There is no best. Play what you enjoy. There are many options and some suit other descendants better. Experiment and enjoy. That's what you should do 😁👍
@@iieagle85eyeii Half an hour is not a long farming time. Most things you have to try for about 2 to 4 hours (normally). You only get it in half an hour if you're lucky. Drops are luck and chance, just relax and farm for awhile :)
