I am from Minnesota. My husband and I LOVE KFC! We couldn't afford much when we first were married and KFC has delicious food at a reasonable price. Hubby, Paul, is from the UK and was only aware of the chicken burgers. Paul was amazed at the buffet at KFC. He fell in love from the first moment and it's become "OUR" place to go to! I wish the UK would have the mashed potatoes and gravy like the US!

As an American I do know his story but it's always cool seeing someone from another country and culture enjoying or appreciating something we actually did right here, lol. I love your KFC challenge where you visit as many as possible back in your home so this went well with it. Fun fact, not certain you have these in England but Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's fast food (names after his daughter), worked for the Colonel before starting his restaurants. He said he learned a lot from the Colonel but wanted his own business. Keep doing what you do so well, Kate!!!!!!!!!!
